Coin toss if it works
Feeder worked for about a week, then consistently jams every time. I tried putting the feeder on a different identical printer with the same result. It’s junk. I bought a second feeder for the other printer and it works fine, so HP is batting .500.

VERY EASY SETUP. LIFTED PRINTER, HAD COWORKER PLACE 500 SHEET TRAY UNDER THE PRINTER, SETTHE PRINTER ON TOP OF THE TRAY, TURNED THE PRINTER ON AND AUTOMATICALLY FOUND THE TRAY. WORKS PERFECT!!!!

Can I load preprinted checks face down in this additional drawer?
All HP printers are capable of printing names and dollar amounts on premade check paper, you will just need to use check printing software for proper formatting. However, if you need to print full checks yourself, your bank will likely require the use of magnetic ink character recognition (MICR), which would require a modified HP printer and MICR ink/toner.
