The annoying thing is that I only needed to replace one cartridge according to the printer, until I replaced it. All of a sudden nothing would work until a second was replaced--did it really lose 20% of its ink without printing anything? As soon as the 2nd was replaced, the printer would not work until the 3rd color was replaced even though minutes before it was okay. I am very unhappy with HP for its ink handling.

I canceled and went back to purchasing ink direct as needed. It's very clear HP goes out of their way to make it difficult to purchase ink direct as they aggressively push the instant ink program forcing you to jump though many hoops to buy direct. HP needs to understand the general consumer understands your motivation, you make a lot more money when you add up cartridge returns and profit from customers like me with ever changing business demands. If you keep forcing customers to do business your way you will ultimately lose. Wake up!

is this ink water resistant?

Thank you for your question! All HP inkjet printers can print water-resistant photos with HP Advanced Photo Paper and genuine HP ink. Water-resistant means that if a print is exposed to water, it should not be damaged, as long as it is carefully dried promptly. HP Premium and Premium Plus Photo Paper do not provide water-resistant prints. HP Advanced Photo Paper must be used for water-resistant prints.
