For some unknown reason these color cartridges are unavailable. What is going on I have been trying to get these ink cartridges for a month and cannot find them anywhere. The used cartridges cannot be refilled either.

I have always used HP and have been happy with their products. But, when I purchased this one I was disappointed. The ink cartridges are difficult to prepare to install. The printer uses way ink quicker than any other product I have had. Then 2 weeks in, no one has the inks available, they are sold out everywhere. I was finally able to locate some of the inks directly through HP, but, they took a week to get to me. Now that I've installed the ink cartridges, they don't work. Fed up!

I usually purchase these items with Office Max, but with Covid, I assume they had trouble keeping their HP ink in stock as these items were listed as out of stock. Years ago I had a disappointing experience with HP. I had an HP laptop and it died one month past the warranty. When I asked the HP person on the phone if there was anything he could do to help me get it fixed or replaced, he said no. That abruptly ended my dealings with HP. I’ve been very satisfied with my HP printers and HP ink.

This is our third HP all-in-one printer. The HP 916XL cartridge is easy to install, once you get the orange plastic lever off. I especially appreciate HP's recycling program. I usually take my cartridges to Staples. HP's postage paid envelope is enormously more convenient. I find ordering my HP original ink cartridges directly from HP to be as cost effect as getting them from Amazon.
