I used to use a generic cartridge set, and that worked quite well while saving me a bit of money. Then my wife purchased an HP laptop and tried to print something out. The laptop discovered the generic cartridges and shut the printer down. I had to purchase HP cartridges to be able to use my printer again. So be careful if you prefer to use generic cartridges.

The reason I only gave it two stars is because of the expense of a small amount of black ink. My other printer is an Epson and I just bought a bottle of ink for it that was about 1/3 of the price And considerably more product. The Epson seems to be a better printer all around.

Flipping back the orange ink cover is disappointing, they almost always leak the toner on your fingers & the cartridges!

Perhaps it would be better to buy from a more honorable company. Printer works, but I paid $85 for $55 worth of cartridges to make it work.

This cartridge is too large to fit into the printer. How do I find a black 910XL cartridge that is thinner to fit next to the three colored cartridges?

If you have the OfficeJet 8015e, OfficeJet Pro 8025e, OfficeJet Pro 8034e, or OfficeJet Pro 8035e, this is the only 910XL Black. If you are having trouble with it fitting in one of those models, you will want to contact HP Support about the cartridge.
