Last Year my 8710 HP printer came up with a code that the ink delivery system was not working, and HP said that I would have to replace the printer. With the help of HP, I purchased another HP printer that stated it would only work with HP ink. First off, the printer is not that great, and when I needed ink, which is often, I had trouble getting the ink from HP. I wanted the XL cartridges, but they were not available, so I was forced to buy standard cartridges which empty quickly. I was taken again by HP. Now I am looking to purchase a new laptop, and thought about the I7 17" version which lists for now, price increase, $899.99. It was discounted by $200, plus the 10% I get from my printer purchase, but the price is still $654.99. I think I should not pay more then $600.
