I love my HP DeskJet 3755 for the smallness of the machine, and the features are pretty easy to use. This machine is simple and doesn't take a lot of room on my desk. When I used the scanner for the first time I was blown away because it's easier from the HP I previous owned. Thank you for making such a nice printer.

Can I use ink#65 instead of #61
If your printer is compatible with the HP 61 ink cartridge it will not be compatible with the 65.

what does xl mean on the ink cartridge
Hello. Thanks for your question. The XL on an ink cartridge stands means it has a higher ink capacity than the standard version. For example, the HP 65XL Tri-color yields approximately 300 pages, whereas the standard HP 65 Tri-color Ink Cartridge yields approximately 100 pages.

I have an hp3830 printer. The cartridges I removed for replacement are 65/304. But the 65/304 cartridges don’t include the hp3830 on their list of compatible printers. All websites indicate that the 63 cartridge is what I need. Is this correct?

I changed my hp#65 tricolor ink in early August and made about 30 copies, and already the printer is telling me the ink is low. My printer is about 5-6 years old and this is a relatively new issue. It seems I should be able to make a lot more copies.
