Yo ur representative on the telephone was very polite and helpful telling me that HP no longer made the 901XL ink cartridges that I required but that there was another (61) that was a direct substitute, Sitting next to the printer I read off the model number, serial number and all the information whereupon she placed my order. Very efficient, except the 61XL cartridges do not work in my printer. I then went online to Amazon.com and bought the 901XL from another vendor. Thanks HP, goodby HP.com. No, I do not want to send the 61's back and wait another week for you to send something else that may or may not work.

Ink runs out faster than advertised
My order arrive on time but I was very disappointed I was only able to print 50 pages before the color ink started to run low and fade. I called customer service and spent an hour - yes, you read that right, an hour - on the phone "troubleshooting". Why they wanted to troubleshoot ink running low I have no clue. It's a hour I will never get back. They finally said they would send a replacement.

Saves a Trip to The Store
I print many photos and go through a lot of color ink. It lasts a while even though I use it often. It is convenient to purchase online especially in the winter. I'm in Central NY and it gets pretty nasty at times in the winter. It also doesn't take too long to get my ink.
