The color is truer, the ink lasts longer, they are just better all the way around! From now on, it's the "real thing", not some HP wantabee.

I could not calibrate it correctly, since the bottom two lines of the calibration test did not show up correctly. There was no range of choices printed below the samples and none of the samples were even close! I tried doing the clean process, all three levels, but nothing changed. It would be helpful if the screen instructions showed what colors the boxes on the clean are supposed to be. This has been very frustrating!

Combo pack is more convenient and gives me both ink types needed for my printer. Performance/pages is pretty accurate. My only issue has always been with the Color Ink Cartridge- I always run out of one color before the other two and have to waste what's left by replacing cartridge. But HP product is good and I wouldn't risk buying some unknown product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by thekid from don't spend the extra money I decided to try the HP57+ ink cartridge since I was making Christmas ornaments and wanted them to last. I would not buy this cartidge again as I do not think it was any better color than the HP 57 regular cartridge. In fact, the colors did not seem as rich as the regular one. HP inks for older printers are already high priced; I don't think this ink warrants spending the extra money on. I will say that the shipping was as advertised - I received the package via Fed-Ex the next business day, which was awesome, and free shipping does off-set the price of the cartridge.
