PRICE TOO HIGH.
While the product is good. The price is astronomical. I cannot imagine this costing more than $25 dollars to manufacturer. Even then if you add another $15 dollars for shipping. What a mark up! How about making a cartridge that holds much more toner for a lower cost. That is what my business needs. I hope someone innovates a better way of doing copies that do not require any toner. Then the paper will cost $20 dollars per pack. :(

HP Color Laser Toner Cartridge
I have not used the hi yield cartridge as yet. The “starter” set that came with my color laser are still working. My experience with them has been excellent. Very good color, no smearing and long lasting. I feel confident the hi yield cartridges will prove equally effective.

Great Toner, Terrible Pricing Structure and Bad Customer Service
Great toner, WAY too expensive. This printer is quite unaffordable to replenish the color and it’s almost better to run a black and white shop. I have a small business, I’m owner/employee number one and only. I do need to print presentations and applications once in a while, and of course double the printer’s use for home purposes, but man, I shouldn’t have to borrow money to keep this going. It shouldn’t cost more than the printer to replenish the toner to make it work. It’s almost cheaper just to buy a new printer every time and just get the free toner that comes with it, and that is wasteful. HP needs to get its act together on this and be more reasonable. To top things off, when I needed service from the company to help with a simple thing, I was told that the service charge would be waived for this one-time only. What? A service charge? For a printer I just bought a couple years ago, and for which I buy toner for regularly. This company needs a different pricing structure if this is what they have to do. It’s really not OK. Bad customer service, bad pricing structure, good product.

the toner cartridge was so simple to replace. hardest part was opening shipping box. I simply opened a drawer on the front of the printer, lifted the old cartridge out, shook the new cartridge horizontally 5 to 6 times, lowered the new cartridge into place, and closed the drawer.

No if you have macs.
Great functionality, great prints, etc. However my printer does not sync with Apple products so EVERY use requires a new sign in and restart as a customer, and redo APPLICATIONs. True for buying ink as well as I am plagued 4 times a day by pop-ups reminding me to buy what I already purchase through HP link. Absolutely hideous. This lack of connectivity was NOT shown on box, instructions or website. BestBuy salesperson-a manager- said it was not a problem when asked directly.

Nice Features!
I brought this printer 2 months ago, and I have to buy ink, and I almost had a heart attack on the cost of the cartridges. I would not have brought it if I had known I had to pay $800 for ink. I was told I would get 6000 copies per printer but was unaware that the cartridges that came with it were sample cartridges and only 3000 copies.
Otherwise, it is a great printer and performance excellent.

Trouble logging in
Gret products BUT it is very difficult to pay. I was logged in but when I tried to pay, I had to login again and it took hours to make that work. I don't know why but I have two logins and when I finally got logged in the message was, "That account already exists, try another." Very frustrating.

Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP 414X toners are high-yield toners that will last longer than the HP 414A toners. For the high-yield toners, HP 414X black is approximately 7,500 pages. The three colors will last approximately 6,000 pages for each toner. The regular toner, HP 414A black is approximately 2,400 pages. The three colors, HP 414A, will last approximately 2,100 pages for each toner.
