I bought one cartridge each of three colors and black. The total price was significantly more than the printer cost. This is not a way to encourage returning consumers to purchase HP products when considering a printer upgrade or update.

HP Color LaserJet Pro M478f-9f
I have a HP Color LaserJet Pro M478f-9f, which uses these HP Toners. I buy only the High Yield cartridges because they last about 3 times longer than the regular yield. Image quality in black and white as well as color are great. I am very pleased with this Color LaserJet Pro. I have been using only HP LaserJets for more than 25 years.

No problem with cartridge's
I do allot of printing. My 479fdw is a good printer for someone who does not da allot of printing. If you do 20,000 copies a month, this unit cant handle it.
Cools down to many times during the printing process and if you want to print just a few selected pages out of 150 pages it just prints the whole set again and the ink is expensive.

Works great, but way too expensive.
The printer is awesome. It is very easy to replace the cartridge and they last for a pretty long time. However, the price is outrageous. To buy the 4 cartridges from HP costs over $900. Clearly the price is not related in any way to the cost of the product. In fact, the four cartridges cost double what the printer itself cost. HP needs to rethink its pricing strategy. If someone asked me to recommend this, I would say it is a great and reasonably priced multi-function printer, but avoid it because the cartridge cost is way too high.

Your product is so overpriced compared to your competitors and I can’t see a difference in the the print quality or the amount of pages it prints between your competitors. I wish I bought one of your competitors printers.

Print Quality
I have been buying HP products for well over a dozen years. The 414X gives me the best value while at the same time confidence I will get the best possible card stock quality and not have to deal with all of the issues people do who choose to use brand X cartridges in their laser printers.
