You should make this change.
This machine can detect when a page is in the ADF or on the glass when copying but will not do the same when scanning. Seems like a simple fix for you to do. It's a pain to have to select "glass" each time you are scanning a single page.

Product is questionable. Web site and follow up not so good. I ordered this cartridge online from the HP web site, as I have done a couple times before. It was easy to order, came quickly. Previous cartridges have worked fine. This one seems to be leaving streaks and spots. But. I thought that might be a one off problem and I needed other colors, so I went online to order them. Web site was not letting me put items in the cart. I provided feedback. Tried again a few days later, Web site would only let me put one item in the cart. If I added another, the first one disappeared. Guess I will try to find a retail store and hope the cartridges are better than this one.

I like using the 414X toner cartridge because I get more value for my money. I do an exceptional amount of printing and rather than purchasing one toner that will only print 2200 pages, I purchase the X that 1) costs less than three individual cartridges combined and 2), I get more pages printed. This is the best deal because it saves dollars, and it makes sense.

I could not believe what I had to pay for ink cartridges. They have us over A BARREL and we have no option but to pay their ridiculously jacked up prices. I HAD to pay $931 for four cartridges- Black, Magenta, Blue and Yellow. These better last a decade!!
