I ordered 4 toner cartridges direct via HP through my employer and saved some $$$ but had a long shipping time. I could have purchased for $100 more from Amazon, but I figured I would try HP direct first. fast forward 4 wks later, as I am tracking the package which is listed as shipped but no activity noted. I do an online chat with HP and find out the toners HAD NEVER LEFT THE HP WAREHOUSE. Needless to say, I was not happy; the rep offered to send the cartridges but it would again take several weeks to ship. I asked for a refund, which she agreed. Fast forward 4 weeks again and no refund, so I had to place a dispute with Paypal and waiting to hear back.

I don't do a lot of printing, so I was surprised the ink cartridges were depleted so quickly. Had to spend $400 for replacement ink cartridges. Outrageously expensive, and not sustainable (I have to pay for this myself, not my employer). I feel like I've been extorted!

The warning added that I should have an extra cartridge on hand, but that I need not replace the existing cartridge just yet. Fine. HP might even send the same warning once a day. However, for the past week I have been receivng that same warning 25 times a day. I got the message. I bought the back-up cartridge. You can stop harassing me now.

Replaced these non-HP branded cartridges with these HP ones, cleaned up the mess inside the printer, and everything worked much better. I will admit these cartridges were expensive, and that is the reason for a "Good" rating vs an "Excellent" rating. My client wanted to return the printer, and these products changed their mind. Thanks.

I give this review 4.5 stars, because all 4 individual toners were on my doorstep instead of being in an (unmarked) box. I wasn't home at the time. My neighbor was kind enough to call me to inform me, I had packages at my door. I am a faithful HP consumer and will continue to order my products. My only request: please put the toners in a box.
