Just what I was looking for...
I bought this laptop with the idea of replicating what I had at work. We have the G5 series at work with a docking station and two monitors. And, the laptops at work, which are relatively new, are so fast. Well, this one is faster. I bought the G6 series laptop, a docking station (works with both the G5 and G6 series), and two monitors - just like at work. Now if I want to work from home, I pop out the new personal laptop, pop in the work laptop, and I'm in business.
This new laptop is nice and highly recommended. And, it's fast. And way better than the Dell desktop I was living with before (absolutely no comparison). No problems so far, and I don't expect any.

Excellent Features that meets our criteria
I just bought this for my R/D Scientist husband, he is still transferring from his Thoshiba Quismo. I watched presidential speech last week on this, graphic features is very good, I was even able to watch from about 6-8 ft. This is not a cheap computer but we got great deal and the protection plan was cheap. This was purchased on hp.com website as it was not available in Best Buy or Staples etc..My husband is using a Docking station to hook up all different mointors to work together. When you purchase Docking station look for right connection one and do not try to use different one or using alteernative method to accomplish your purpose.
We do like HP products as we have many in our house just like you. They lasted very very long for us.
Our Computer is Microbook Ultra Thin G6. I like dealing with company itself for warrenty unlike others going through Assuriean etc..This 3 year warrenty is less than $199 and it is worth it. I found out if you do not use their warrenty for 3 years, you will get your money back.
