Unavailability of single cartridge purchase online
Try finding a single color cartridge on HP's website or in the big box stores. Not available. But if a person wants to spend 3x what they need to, they can purchase the trio bundle and amazingly the colors are available then. When this printer takes a dive, I will be switching to Canon, the one Shaq advertises.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered
HP Smart alerted me that my toner was low. So I ordered the recommended toner. The problem was the recommended toner was the wrong ones. Since I didn't discover this within 30 days HP would not return them. No recourse. Needless to say I was upset being stuck with $330 worth of toner I can't use. I will never buy anything ever again from HP.

Always good Toner
I've never had any problems with genuine HP toner cartridges, always work like they should, excellent color and quality. The colors are clear and bright! Reliable with consistent quality so these ink cartridges work well without any issues.

Too expensive ! Rather than making their product price competitive, they send a download to deactivate your printer when it senses a generic toner.

I was greatly offended that Hp installed security software that would not allow use of non Hp cartidges. Hp completely blocked the start up of my printer until I purchased hp products.

forcing genuine HP cartridges on me is just bad
I wouldn't mind buying genuine HP cartridges if that was part of the deal in buying the printer.... 4 years ago. but, to take a firmware update automatically, then have the printer stop working because it didn't have genuine HP cartridges in it...with no work around...then having to bust out $400 for genuine hp cartridges to wait over a week for delivery... being dead in the water not able to print for over a week... that is just bad.

Impossible to register!
Toner Cartridges are toner cartridges, as long as they are HP! My only complaint is that your system won't allow me to register the new cartridge, but every time my printer is turned on, your system sends me the message to register. Being irritating is no a good way to build customer loyalty..... your system has a glitch and you should fix it.

Best Ever!
I have owned at least a dozen printers over the years and nearly all brands, but my HP printer is the best ever. I have had it now for three years and it has never failed me. I have had one paper jam in three years and that was my fault. But best of all is the ease and simplicity of changing the toner cartridges. I actually think that I have finally found my "forever" printer. Thank you HP for designing this awesome printer for me! If you are reading this, you are likely thinking about buying a printer. Wireless Doesn't Work Well
I've had this printer for nearly a year now, and even though it's in the exact same room as my router/modem, and there are no obstructions between them, it is unable to connect daily. It's such a pain in the rear! I've called the customer support line half a dozen times, followed all their instructions while on the phone, and can get it to work for day or two. Then it always goes back to having to unplug the machine, hold the power button for 30 seconds so it drains all power, and replug it in again to see if there's a network connection. I've had to do this more than 50 times, and I'm just plain tired of it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
