Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Service & communication was terrible Ordered computer on 6/6/2026 with promise date of 6/30/2026. Computer not received until 9/4/2026 and it was very difficult to get delivery information. We were forced to purchase another computer and HP would not cancel the order & when it arrived offered a $250.00 credit to keep the computer. We tried to cancel when we were forced due to company need to purchase another computer

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jsamuels from An HP Workstation without Internal Cables This Z2 G1i Workstation does not have the necessary internal cabling for additional SATA drives to be installed. Worse yet, HP discontinued the required cable kit and you cannot obtain the kit on the surplus marketplace. A travesty and indicative of the HP customer centric focus that is lacking today. Think multiple times before spending your hard earned money on an HP platform.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gus F from Big box, expensive cables The tower PC looks like it has enough room for an external 5 1/4" drive bay where you could put a DVD or Blu-Ray drive, but no, it's only 3" behind the facade. It's also missing crucial SATA power cables with proprietary connectors on the other end for internal expansion. The spare parts site wanted way too much for these small cables. A box this big should allow for expansion, but HP skimped on the small stuff. I ended up returning this PC for a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DKrenek from Good desktop for everyday use I have always been a Dell person but HP offered a better deal so I thought I would take a chance. This desktop is very fast, quiet and surpasses the Dells I have used in the past, very happy with my selection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good, but could be better. Overall, this is a very capable machine and I like it. However, the mouse that came with the computer turns on, but will not work. Many consultations on the Internet have not produced a solution to this. USBs are difficult to insert. It appears that the USBs in back are more capable than those in the front but if this was disclosed, I missed it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrs. Shirley from Love the speed I have been through a few computers in the last few years which I use for school and work. I have had issues with speed primarily and this new computer is amazing! I purchased it first because I got a student discount, I was hoping that it would not be another discounted computer as far as how it works. I could not be happier with it. I work with several excel sheets open at a time and often many browser windows due to school and research. It has helped me stay on track without the frustration of slowing down or errors and shutting down. This has been a gamechanger for me and I'm so happy that I made this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by R.B. T. from No good support for an experienced user The computer, not much to complain about the machine in general. However, the documentation was deplorable particularly on the motherboard. I am experienced computer builder, and I wanted tech info on certain headers on the mobo, info on the expansion slots, info on sata power connections, etc, and nobody in tech support had a clue! They are just "script readers" apparently. One person told me there is no motherboard manual, which is an absolute implausible joke. Technicians who service the computer have to have a mobo manual available for reference. Anyway, I was so disgusted with the lack of in-depth support that I will NEVER buy another HP machine. Like I said, I normally build my own computer where every component has plenty of available documentation. In this case, I did not have time to build my own machine. Bottom line is that HP support is for casual users who never get inside their machine for any reason. Suffice it to say, I am not happy with HP support, and by extension, their products!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Christopher a from Issues with adding hard drives I called before I placed the order to make sure I could install 2 added sata hard drives. I was told yes I can add hard drives but did not tell me it was going to take a special cable kit (B5DU5AA) to do so. Did not offer to add this cable kit when I place the order. This is not an easy item to find. HP does not even have it to buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from From secondhand Z420 to brand new HP Z2 G1i Desktop Workstation I had an old off-lease HP Z420 workstation that I purchased through an HP certified partner. Which the motherboard finally blew, the dust blew on me. So I called the business side of HP and ordered the very machine that I'm writing this review on. So far I'm very pleased with so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ceyyou166 from Great machine if only it did not have Wolf Security. This replaces my Z23 I-7 machine I purchased some years back. It is fast and quiet. The biggest issue I have is that HP Sure Click is preventing files from loading in an application I have. Mostly pdf files. Saying that a storage policy is blocking this type of file. I spoke to your support and the person I spoke to spend an hour trouble shooting without a solution. Not sure how knowledgeable he was on the wolf security. We were unable to disable the sure click function eventhough the console said it was disabled. The solution now is to default pdf files to open in edge. Why this is a temporary solution, it prevents me from using adobe features.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NAR Realtor from New hp computer So when I went to connect my computer to WiFi, it seems that my brand new computer did not have a WiFi Adpter in it. Why was I not told that it didn't have one, or asked if I wanted one? WiFi is a newer modality than Broadband. Now how do I add the WiFi adapter to be a part of my computer?
