Set up & Connection issues
Setup was very difficult — I spent two hours on the phone with support just to get it working. It does work now, but the connection drops frequently and I have to manually reconnect. This is also a replacement unit: my first purchase never worked properly either, and that one also took hours of troubleshooting with support before I gave up and had it replaced.

Disappointed in HP printer
I am a loyal HP printer person. I have used it form almost 15 years. The new printer is disappointing. An absolute exercise in frustration. What should be a straightforward utility device feels like a obstacle course designed to push software downloads rather than print documents.
Getting this connected to Wi-Fi is an absolute nightmare. The connection drops frequently, and pairing it with a network feels like a multi-step trial-and-error nightmare.
Every single page has to be loaded manually onto the glass flatbed one by one—a massive bottleneck if you ever need to scan or copy multi-page documents.

We waited and set it up after a year. Set it up and something is broke in it and we can't even send it back. They said even tho we haven't used it more than once, it is broken, which we didn't do, and they won't take it back. No more up copiers.

Easy to setup

Putting liquid in tanks is nerve wracking
I’m disappointed with this printer. My last printer was great! Super easy and quick to change out ink cartridges. The new printer is always jammed and takes forever to fill the ink tanks. I regret buying it

Missed my old H P printer
My old printer had the screen that I could choose what I wanted to do. Now I have to go into my computer to choose various selections. Also, I would have preferred to get the instruction manual with the printer rather than have to look everything up each time!

DOES THE JOB
Prints good, speed is what is to be expected. But colors are a little flat & dull. Certainly don't get the sharpness and vibrancy as you do from a laser printer. Ink tank concept is great. Sure beats buying cartridges all the time.

HP is one of the better quality products. Whether it's a computer or printer than any of the others out there in the price range. Great quality and speed on the printer. A very easy setup and prints. When you want it to not have to wait for the signal to come in and out. It's great return a cannon in exchange for this one

The printer for so far has been great when print standard text documents, photos, and advertisements/ flyers. HP Smart Tank 6003 All-in-One Printer offers quite a bit of functionality like dual side printing, borderless printing Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct plus multi support Mobile Printing Capability for the ultimate connectivity options is very useful. In my experience I was able to connect my smartphone and laptop device quickly with no hassle. Printer setup from unboxing to actually using the printer for the project took less than an half hour. I am an above average technology, but the printer is convenient enough for the average user as well. HP provides very detailed instructions for operating and setting up printers for the first time.

I had trouble setting it up & it cost me over &5000.00
The instillation was difficult & I had to have my laptop cleaned up at a cost of over $5000.00. My laptop is old but also a HP product. My previous printer from 9 yrs ago was a HP product

Great product with ease of use
The HP Smart Tank 6003 all in one printer was definitely a smart purchase for our family. It was easy to install and use. It is very convenient to use and even the younger members were able to use it without any problem. What we appreciate most is the quality of the prints. They are very precise and high quality. The printer seamlessly connected to our wifi and system and was very quick to operate. We will definitely be recommending this product to others.

I would be 100% happy if there was a way to adjust the size of my prints other than full size or 5x7, would like more options like a percentage to reduced size. Maybe I haven't been able to find that so far.

I haven't had the printer for long, but seems pretty good. While other reviews dinged the setup, it went well for me...BUT I did need to reset the Wi-Fi (might have been nice to include that in the Setup instructions. Really like the idea of the economical ink.

Slow start and slow stop
Takes a while to get settled down and ready to print, same when trying to shut down. Prints good, picky on paper type/selection you are printing on, else will mangle the paper and perform some origami on it.

The automatic setup recommended by HP doesn't work. Printer didn't connect to WiFi. The problem required detailed work by HP tech to repair the errors caused by the automatic setup system. Seems to be working fine now. Frustrating process, you'd think HP would have figured out all this basic stuff by now.

I like the way the printer works and how it showes the ink level.
I use the printer every day, I would have liked the paper slot to have been a an actual tray rather than a slot. The design of the printer takes up less space than my older HP printer.

I own it but wish I didn't. Can't even get instructions on how to print one lousy picture. Useless to me. How do you print a picture. How do you put the paper in. How do you take out the paper tray?????
