Love My HP
I have always had HP computers because I like them. My only issue this time was that none of my passwords transfered over. Some I had, some I didn't so it's been a bit of a pain. Otherwise I love it.

HP OmniBook 17.3 inch
This is a replacement for my old Envy HP laptop, 8 yrs old. If I were to do it over again I would wish that the letters on the laptop were whiter and stand out more. What I see is a weak white look and not as prominent as my keyboard is, so without the keyboard It will be a bit harder to see the letters. Other than that little nit, this is a very nice laptop and I hope it lasts the next 8 years and the hinges don't fall off like my old one. Take note HP fix the hinges or come up with a way to lubricate them.

Disappointing
Disappointing. Hardware: (1) Keyboard not backlit, so difficult to see in marginal lighting, (2) mouse touchpad bad design: right mouse click frequently causes left mouse click behavior (3) power cord is USB-C, which easily be bent (4) on numeric keypad: replacement of page-up / page-down keys with calculator and power on/off. Windows 11 software: (1) toggle keys selection often doesn't work, (2) scrollbar width too small and not adjustable, (3) mouse movement difficult: trying to select left click often causes the mouse pointer to move before the left click takes effect, sometimes causing another item in a list to be targeted.

OmniBook X 173 LT Short comings
A pretty good buy for a laptop, however the more usage it gets the slower it becomes. HP sales staff was so interested in up selling the protection plans they didn't allow me time to evaluate the lack of RAM on this PC. Paired with an advanced Nvidia, 16gb ram is just not sufficient to make this an outstanding laptop. Soldered in RAM not allowing upgrades in RAM is a disgrace to HP and this PC should NOT have been offered for sale. Where were the experts that should have demanded more RAM or expandable ram?

Right CTRl button gone
Copilot button replaced right ctrl button. I will never use MS copilot ever. I use the right ctrl with addition of plus, minus, and 0 button for changing the font and/or picture or screen size. Lacking one working arm it is rough to hold the left ctrl and the additional button. Everything else is great. The button feel crisp, the speed is superb, the battery last a long time (one of the things I was scared about) and it feels secure not flimsy that's a big bonus for me.

Excellent laptop just that keyboard layout will take time to get used to it.
Everything is great except the keyboard is compressed due to its numeric keypad. I would suggest to remove that numeric keypad and make the main keyboard to like traditional size. I often hit the wrong keys. It is frustrating. But overall it is a solid laptop.

Omnibook X - Disappointing
This laptop, although new, has repeatedly had sound drive issues (which require a 2-hr call with an IT Specialist to reboot the drive), and the File Explorer has repeatedly crashed at random intervals. Poor microarchitecture and software integration thus far. I deeply regret this purchase.

Really Cool - HP OmniBook X 173 LT AI
I bought this HP OmniBook X 173 LT AI about a month ago. I have been dealing with an illness, ever since then, though. I have started to get it set up, but have not been able to finish. The little bit that I have started, though, I really love what I have been able to do on it thus far, and I do believe that when I get it completely set up, I will be totally happy with it. It has allowed me to do way more, than on my current Computer which is just barely hanging on.....

Nice bright display, clear , easy to read. I like the 17in display. I really miss having a second hard drive. My last laptop had 2 hard drives and a CD/DVD player, but didn't have any USB type C ports, that is why I bought this one. It has been really easy to set up, but I am having nuisance troubles trying to setup an external hard drive to make up for not having a second internal drive. All-in-all I am very pleased with this new computer.

Pretty product, keyboard is lame
It is a beautiful device. The keyboard is TERRIBLE. There is no space between the keys, so I spend more time backspacing than typing! I actually worked at HP for years and know they do keyboard testing with customers. How did this ever pass? It has really tainted my impression of the laptop overall. Unboxing used to be so exciting- but now it is just meh.

Just starting using for my crafts and it has been a laptop to buy. It's easy to maneuver and the screen is large, if you have trouble seeing the screen this is the laptop for you. Very good product and would buy another!

HP is Excellent. I canceled order and they facilitated that and getting my preferred unit superbly. I realized Ultra 7, 32 gb of ram and 2 TB drive would make the machine viable much longer so I canceled a lighter spec machine and the customer support was fantastic. Beautiful big laptop, excellent touch display, backlit keyboard there is nothing left to want for. Formerly had many Dells but this machine I feel is superior. The presients day discount made getting a high soec affordable. Thank you HP!

Arrived Broken
I financed this laptop and was charged. Had it custom built for space and speed. ESD was 3/19/26. Ordered on 3/8/26. Checked for an update on 3/18/26 it was still sitting in que. After several chats, where the agents told me it would ship on time, tried to upsell me on additional products when I hadn't received my laptop. A few agents told me there was a build delay. I tried to cancel but a supervisor advised me to wait because it could ship out. I received an email with a new shipping date of 3/27/26, then a new one of 4/8/26. I was livid, this is my work station, and I had already been waiting. I called, talked to two supervisors who were amazing. I was concerned that my first payment was due around the same time as the new ESD and I may not receive my laptop. They offered a credit. They gave me a new delivery date of 4/3/26. The laptop arrived via FedEx in the product box alone, no additional packaging. It was shipped overseas! There was a dent at the side of the box. I opened to inspect the laptop, the battery compartment broken, screen bent, the laptop was separating, pieces missing. I called immediately to report the damage and get a return QR code. I was given thev2 year extended warranty they kept trying to upsell me on. But since I had to return it, it didn't transfer. Even though I asked support if it could considering the fact that I had to pay out-of-pocket to purchase a new laptop from BestBuy. Smaller HD, not as much Ram and a different Omnibook 3 model. I was told yes, then the tech insinuated that I possibly broke my laptop! She stated the dent was small. It wasn't. I sent several photos and I also contacted the finance company about this issue.
The credit finally was applied to my HP finance account and brought my balance to $0.
The absolute worst experience ever. I thought purchasing directly from HP online would be better. It was worse! BestBuy delivered my laptop on 4/4/26, it was nested inside of 3 additional shipping boxes, on top of the product box.
I can't describe how the Omnibook X performs, unfortunately. Due to improper packaging it was broken in transit.

An awesome laptop
This lap top is a great one to work on. I love the bigger screen and how the key board is so easy to work on without the touch pad getting in the way. It starts quickly, screen quality is awesome. Good value for the money. Strongly recommend.

The never arriving Laptop!
If I ever get what I ordered over 2 months ago, maybe I’ll have something to say better. They shipped the order and did no tracking on it. I had to call multiple times to find out it was damaged during shipment. I am still waiting. They are taking longer to set up the replacement than they did the 1st one. Being patient, but it is wearing thin.

I just want a working computer to work with documents.
Setup is nigh impossible with all of the subscriptions and setup required by Microsoft, and then HP, and then Google. Multiple emails required for the MS 365 subscription, and a website required?

New HP Omni X 17
I have been using my new HP laptop for a month, I love the larger keyboard, performance is great and it was very easy to transfer all my legacy data and browser URLs to new one. I had my previous HP about 8 years so it was definitely time for upgrade. My only negative comment, it took about 3 1/2 weeks from purchase date to actually receiving computer.

NOT computer I was expecting
I ordered the OmniBook X Laptop Next Gen AI 7t-dd000, 17.3 from the HP online Store. It was customized so it took longer. It took a month and a half to receive it!! It was NOT as shown on the website. Most of the pictures on the website were of the computer I wanted. After careful observation, I noticed a few pics were of the computer that was delivered. Very unhappy with my computer.

I'm sorry I bought this overpriced (with add-ons making it even worse) pile of crap. Though much faster than our old HP Pavilion, it's difficult to navigate and constantly bothers me with One Drive garbage that I don't want to use. Again, sorry I bought it...doubtful I'll ever buy HP again.

My wife and I needed new laptops that could run win 11. After about a month of research I settled on this one. We bought 2 and customized them a little. We are 66 so wanted the largest screen we could get and these screens are large, 17in, and beautiful. I ordered them with 32 gig of ram since we would not be able to upgrade later, also win 11 Pro. They came with 3 USB ports although 1 more would have been nice. The case is silver and feels solid. We wish they offered different colors so we could have picked what we wanted. It is very fast although I haven't played any games on it. The screen is gloss so you may have trouble if you plan on using it outside but we do not. The only drawback I have is the keyboard. The keys are flush with the surface of the case and really prefer they stick up a bit like my old laptop. It's just to easy for me to make mistakes. Overall I am happy and impressed with the laptop and would buy it again without hesitation. I spent 20 years building and servicing computers in my own shop so I have some background to base my opinions on.

Wow, love this
Really nice laptop, huge screen, but lightweight to carry. Keyboard has a great feel and is nice to type with. Lots of ports on the sides. The power button is integrated into the keyboard, which is nice and sleek. I haven't done any heavy-duty computing yet, but from what I have done so far, there is enough power and speed to perform exceptionally. Windows 11 works really well with this rig.

Good,fast but problems with keypad.
I was really happy with this laptop, but the keys are too close together with not much seperation. I had a pavillion laptop for a decade with no typeing issues. I struggle with this Laptops keypad set up. For what I spent to get all the features, the keypad is "bush league".
