Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Don’t order directly from HP Hp has terrible customer service. I preferred a laptop and a dock from HP in July the dock was delivered in August but the delivery company didn’t leave it because no one was home to sign for it. Two months later I’ve still not received it. The laptop came a couple of weeks later and when I opened the door the delivery man was driving away with no signature, but the laptop was on the front porch. I have not put the laptop in action because Im waiting on my dock. HP said they have opened a case file but in six weeks crickets still no dock. I can’t recommend dealing with them directly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Slipbits from Why laptop keyboard designs fail to support. This is my last HP laptop purchase. Each laptop I buy has a different keyboard layout, and each removes keys that I use frequently. The current keyboard removed the right side ctl-/alt- keys, and the page-up/page-down keys plus other various changes. My HP_Omen_17t has similar deficient changes. To give an example of the impact consider, ctl-{a, c, x, v, d, z} all have a meaning and are convenient when the right-side ctl- key is present. When absent it forces a user two press two keys on the left side at the same time which is much slower, requires some dexterity or the use of two hands, one to press the ctl- and the to press the command completion. Or take the page-up/page-down etc. The HP-Omni and HP-Omen are different, and laughably, the HP-Omni brings up a calculator when one of the 'keys' is used. Someone needs to take a typing class.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bruce in Montana from New HP Laptop Well, I replaced by HP Core I7 laptop with an HP Core Ultra 7 this past month. One of things I needed was triple external monitor support (via USB-C) which the I7 did not have. Now the Ultra 7 has twice the RAM, so it's faster. However, I thought I specified I wanted ETHERNET, but I don't have an ethernet jack on this laptop. But, the WiFi is still fast enough for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from This is a great laptop The HP OmniBook 7 is a wonderful laptop. I have owned several Dells, an Acer, and an LG and this is far superior to all the others. Setup was outstanding—no glitches like with other laptops and everything went smoothly. In use, it is fast and again, no glitches like with Dell models. Storage is great, display is excellent. It is a pleasure to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Exactly as Ordered... The Memorial Day sale finally enticed me to upgrade to Window 11...the webpage was easy to navigate, easy to customize my chosen laptop, easy to order...the laptop shipped quick enough, tracking & communications were excellent...the only negative was the fact that an optical drive was not included/available slipped right pass me...partly my fault, partly HPs fault because there no notation of that(or I overlooked it)...overall, I highly recommend HP, have been an HP customer since our first desktop in 1999...as to Win11, the transition has not been as bad as expected...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martin B from Love My HP I have had several HP Laptop computers. They all work great, (I’ve also had many HP printers and multi function printers). This laptop replaces my Windows 10 laptop, with a 1TB solid state hard drive and 32 GB of RAM. I truly like it. Unfortunately, I don’t use its AI features.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Don’t buy from HP.com. Best Buy won’t charge you a restocking fee if you decide to return it. Super heavy laptop with 83kw battery(if I remember correctly). If you plan to mostly keep it at home on the desk, then that’s probably fine and it might be a great laptop. I didn’t even turn it on because it was clearly too heavy for me to carry in my backpack to college every day. When I returned this brand new laptop, they charged me $100(15% restocking fee). I tried to call a customer service number, but only got directed to an AI chat by on the website. When I ask the customer service AI chatbot about the restocking fee, it said they would waive the fee if I bought another HP laptop, but by that time I was already very upset with HP, and the AI Chatbot made it even worse by trying to sell me other products before giving me the return authorization – it took 45 minutes just to get a return. Crazy! I know companies are trying to modernize to improve productivity and profit… but ironically this type of customer service burned me as a customer, and I’ll tell anyone looking for a laptop NOT TO BUY an HP. I didn’t see this “restocking fee” in the fine print, otherwise I would not have bought from HP. I’m telling all my college classmates NOT to buy from hp.com, and to buy from Best Buy or Walmart because they have a much better return/exchange policy. I ended up buying a refurbished laptop from Best Buy, that I found out the VA(VR&E) program that’s putting me through college will reimburse me up to $2500. I returned the refurbished laptop to Best Buy, with no restocking fee and very friendly and respectful staff. So guess what? I bought a laptop from this same company because they were friendly and reasonable. I bought a MacBook Pro 16 inch from them and I’m very happy with it, and it’s not crazy heavy like the HO OmniBook 7.

Rated 5 out of 5 by esmith7471 from New purchase of latest laptop I had a very good experience when I ordered during Memorial Day sales. Prices were changing leading up to the Holiday and certain laptops were discounted the dropped after several days so you had to watch closely to get the laptop you were interested in at a good price. Their online price was not even close to any of the main Box Stores. On a negative was transferring the old laptop to the new one. The program they advised to get worked but was very slow. A couple of programs did not transfer. HP said to call into support and they could walk you through it… that was incorrect they will but for a fee! They said to call Laplink to their support, Also found it is basically a 1 time process between the 2 computers. I attempted to go after a few different files but was unsuccessful in doing so. HP makes a good laptop to at the end of the day was satisfied I received a good computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great little laptop with excellent battery life!! I love the new battery health features included. Not only can I limit battery charging to 80% which my previous HP laptop had too, but I no longer have to worry about leaving my laptop plugged into the dock even after the battery charge has reached 80%. It'll stop charging and basically take the battery out of the equation, powering the laptop directly from the power cord. NICE!!! The 17" screen is bright and vibrant, working well even outside, and the included nVidia card is great for when I'm docked to my big 27" gaming monitor. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to unlock the advanced BIOS settings on this laptop. I was unable to utilize certain features of the (business level) 280W dock because I couldn't get access to that, so I ended up downgrading to the 180W model. (I had even tried all the reddit suggestions to try to unlock it to no avail.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyNanaX5 from So far so good Recently retired, my firm laptop was a business HP. I never had any issues with it so I decided to buy one for my personal use. I don’t use it often, but it was super easy to set up and connect to our WiFi. I believe it will be great for many years to come. It’s fast and does more than I need. At this point, I can highly recommend.
