Love my new HP OmniBook 7 Aero 13bg1077nr
My last laptop was an HP Envy which was also wonderful.
The OMNI is slightly smaller and light weight. Easy to take and use anywhere. Setup was so easy, was up and running very quickly. Love that I can read and send texts from it, so don't need to switch between my phone and laptop while working. Love the feel of the keyboard and it's clean white color.
My only wish is that it had a touch screen like my old Envy.

Great portable but powerful laptop
Good quality, sturdy and light. Only downside for me is the charging ports are all on the right side only. I wish they were on both or just left side.

Mostly satisfied
Appreciate the lightness, sharp display, and responsive keyboard. Battery life could be better. Big negative is the heavy charging brick. Would be 5-stars if HP paired this model with a Snapdragon processer and a travel-friendly GaN charger.

Broken Laptop - Unsatisfactory Customer Service
I was very excited to get this laptop. I take a LONG time to do my research and felt like this was going to be my new baby.
Unboxed and was visually thrilled with my selection, ceramic white was amazing. Unfortunately, the trackpad was broken and laptop locked up about 5 minutes into setup.
Took forever to get to anyone in customer service, finally got through on "Chat Support" and they gave me a number to call. I called and they transferred me to another department, Chat asked if they could leave I TYPED NO, transferred to another department, Chat asked if they could leave I TYPED NO, transferred AGAIN to another department and they gave me the first number that "Chat Support" gave me.
I asked Chat Support if they could escalate to a manager and I did a full return on my beautiful, NOT working, laptop. They shipped me another one but it was going to take 3-5 days to reach me and we were headed out of town. I told them I needed it overnight since we were leaving the day after. "Not possilble our only option is 3-5 days"
I was angry from the laptop being broken, trying to get anyone to help me, and then not being able to get it in time for my trip. Laptop would have arrived while we were out of town. So I canceled and asked for a full refund.
I still want the laptop and I am waiting for it to go on sale again.

Light weight and works great.
Much lighter and easier to travel with than the Thinkpad L13 it replaced. Was able to install Fedora Linux quickly, with all hardware working out of the box.

Great travel laptop
I needed to replace my 12-year-old Dell XPS-13 (originally Windows 8.1, later upgraded to 10) but ended up choosing the HP because of the extremely limited external ports on the current generation XPS. The HP is lighter and has (for me) the perfect mix of ports. The 13" model works great for travel; it fits perfectly in my sub carry on-sized travel bag, is superbly light and has a long-lasting battery. This is my first HP computer purchase in over 20 years but will likely not be my last.

Great, But problem with peripherals.
The computer works fine, but the additional items I purchased in particular, the wireless mouse, does not work. I am very distressed about it. In addition the wireless keyboard actually has to be plugged in to maintain its electricity. It’s not very wireless. Do you have wireless mice and keyboards that work?

Impressive Laptop
Very light weight and fast!!! I have no complants has all features i was looking for. One thing i wish it had was the 6E network card not sure why it is not standard. I wish i had gotten 32gb ram but i do not think i will ever need it. Much better deal then Dell which i been buying sense 2011. Before that i purchased compaq which merged with HP and acer Laptops.

Great small laptop
Great lightweight portable laptop! Nice design and look. Good battery life, fast, nice screen, lots of ports. I travel a lot and needed something that worked for home and travel. Excellent value-I did buy at reduced price on Labor Day sale. I got it to replace my 5 year old 13 inch another company’s XPS, when the newer version XPS didn’t have adequate ports. I’ve never had an HP before and I’m impressed! (I am not an HP employee but this site wouldn’t let me submit my review unless I said yes to that question—weird)

A/C adapter USB C power port is insufficient
I did not purchase this laptop for gaming. I purchased this laptop for video editing as it was recommended as being capable for such tasks.
I am not at all happy with the USB C power port or the adapter supplied for as soon as I powered up the laptop has been giving me constant notices the adapter does not supply a proper level of power for the laptop to function at peak performance.
Plus the USB C power port is the only power port available so I cannot swap out my adapter with one of my other HP adapters that could possibly supply the proper power.
So take that to the bank.
I cannot submit my "review" without clicking the "YES" citing I am a HP employee.
Get your darn review dialog box fixed.
The founders of HP must be very disappointed.

Purchased this for my college-aged daughter, because I told her the world runs on PC, and I refused to purchase a Mac. I currently have a couple computers from another brand that I was going to purchase, after having HP years ago, but she requested this one after doing some research. Not enough research, apparently, because the first thing she said was it is obnoxiously loud. When she searched for info on if that volume of fan noise was normal after purchase, she found a lot of memes about what it's like being in class with a kid with an HP, since they are so loud. Wishes she researched more, but she's the one that selected and has to use it. Next time, she'll be more likely to go with parent recommendations. As far as I can tell now, it works okay and is, as laptops go, a nice looking machine. It's only been a couple weeks, so time will tell, and we hopefully will not have any issues crop up after a few months of use. The mid-line rating is purely on the fan volume at this point.

Came with Windows 11 Home instead of Windows 11 Pro
I ordered a new HP laptop specified to include the Windows 11 Pro operating system. I received a laptop with the inferior Windows 11 Home edition. Despite multiple contacts over four days with HP Sales, Technical Support, and Customer Service via chat, phone, and email, HP has failed to provide the product I paid for or a commensurate partial refund. Their only proposed solution -- a full return and replacement requiring me to incur additional effort and a two-week wait -- is unreasonable for their error.

Good Value, But Only At Promo Prices
I got the stock laptop with wifi card upgrade for $579.99 (pre-tax).
Pros: Lightweight, and powerful processing for its class, *plenty of ports, above average keyboard, sleek white color (subjective), small power brick (less weight to carry around), Wi-fi has pretty good range and speeds.
Average: Battery capacity and power consumption rate is average in my opinion. Reasonably sized screen bezels. *Slight crowding of cables on the right side of the laptop because that's where most of the ports are located at.
Cons: Stock screen was fatiguing to look at for more than 10 minutes and the thermals were understandably high (I resolved both of these issues by lowering the blue light output for easier reading, and intentionally turned down the cpu's boosting behavior to have the laptop run cooler)
Overall for the price, I am decently satisfied. At full price, I think it might not be worth it.
