Rated 1 out of 5 by Tammy92 from Very Disappointed I had an extremely disappointing experience with HP. Their return and refund process was far more difficult than it should have been. Trying to cancel my order turned into a frustrating, time-consuming ordeal, with confusing instructions, long wait times, and poor communication from customer service. Instead of making the process simple and customer-friendly, I felt like I had to jump through endless hoops just to request a refund. Every step seemed to create another obstacle, making an already frustrating situation even worse. I expected a company like HP to stand behind its products and provide an efficient return process, but my experience was the complete opposite. If you’re considering purchasing from HP, be aware that if you need to return an item or cancel an order, the process may be much more difficult than expected. Based on my experience, I would hesitate to purchase from HP again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Size doesn’t always matter. I had misgivings about going a size smaller with a new laptop but I am so happy that I did. I have a little more desk space so that’s a plus. The laptop picture is so clear, bright and colors are so vibrant that they almost jump out at you. I don’t know why I waited so long. Thank you HP for your excellent products and service. I’ve always been a happy customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Merle90 from Great laptop Good computer, runs smoothly, touch screen works well. Hopefully it can last me a while, my last laptop was only 2 years old and ran out of space completely when I updated to Windows 11. Bummer when the system takes the entire bit storage you have on there.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Promises NOT kept I have only used it for a month but frankly I haven't noticed many improvements over the HP laptop I bought 7 years ago. The battery performance (which is supposedly AI managed) is mediocre at best. A single charge doesn't last more than 6 or 7 hours use, and I only use it for navigating internet: no games, no video. The face recognition software? My dog recognizes my face better than HP Omnibook. My take? Move on, it is pure hype

Rated 1 out of 5 by Laura in SC from Disappointed I received my new laptop a few weeks ago, but only started setting it up a couple of days ago. I transferred my files from my older laptop and I can't open many of them. Also Windows Office Home 2024 came with my computer, but it's not working. I tried calling technical support and after an hour the person was unable to help me and transferred me to someone else. After another 45 minutes, I was disconnected. Then I tried the chat helpline and that person asked me several times for my email address and phone number. Then they suggested that I log out of my email account and log back in. I wasn't having any issues with my email account. Absolutely fed up with their abysmal tech support and totally regretting buying and HP lap top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from boot time or startup time Computer runs great and easy to use. My main complaint is the time it takes to start up so it is ready to use. I had called 'My friend" to speed up process but am still having the same nuisance, Other than that its a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from OmniBook 5 very good; setup support poor OmniBook 5 works as advertised. When I needed assistance transferring passwords & payments from Chrome to Edge, 3 tiers of HP support couldn't handle. I was transferred to an "expert" tier which wanted to charge $50 for a solution. This is despite paying for 3 years extended Care Pack coverage and purchasing HP PC's and printers in the past. So much for loyalty and common sense!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lena M H from Practicality of Omnibook 5 While Omnibook 5 is practical size with acceptable functions, the lack of memory card slots and touch screen makes the it less user friendly. I regret the purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Upset C9nsumer from Never again Never again! Purchased a 900+ dollar laptop, waited almost a month and when it finally arrived, I couldn't use it. The screen wouldn't work. There is no way that I was going to "fix" a brand new computerbor pay anything else. I sent it back. Never again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GW1800 from Very poor, nonexistent user manual. It would be nice if HP would supply an actual users manual instead of a "flyer" in multiple languages that doesn't even show the basics of the keyboard layout. I even called HP support asking about a manual and was told there is nothing available, not even online.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Hardware Harmony. Software Satisfactory. Price Perfect. Should really start off by saying that when you're looking for a good laptop it's usually very hard to find one that's just right for just the right price. Even harder when you're having to sort through the seemingly endless options available in the market of PCs today. Although, it's always possible to narrow the search down to those handful that are good and make no mistake this is the one that'll prove itself the one you'll actually buy. Whether you're one of those lucky ones (like myself) that got it for less than half its original price when it was on a special sale. Or the rest who bought it at full price. Rest assured because you'll be receiving a computer that does what you'll need it to do and then some. With full high-definition display that'll let you see all you'll ever need to with no problem. With full high-quality speakers that'll let you hear all you'd ever need to with no issue. A keyboard that makes typing about as easy as it'd ever be. A touchpad that makes scrolling and moving the cursor about as good as you'd imagine it'd ever be. The hard drive lets you keep all the digital memories you've made and will make very comfortably with just how large in size it all is. All the world's data is available to you with a wi-fi adapter that makes connecting easier than it's ever been before. Just make sure you have the internet connection ready since that's sold separately. Don't worry about outages because the built-in battery will keep the machine charged all throughout. Do all you can and worry less about lag with many cores that process it all for you with no issue. Comes with plenty of software pre-installed that'll let you take care of work and enjoy yourself in play seamlessly so. Just be aware that not all of it's all you'd need and not all of it's all you'd want. Be mindful of what you have installed and uninstalled for that very reason. Moreover, since a lot of it's proprietary software so it's not free. Most of the software that'd work best on the default OS of this device will be proprietary and will be sold separately so remember that too. Overall, it's still worth the buy since you'll be needing this versatility and portability when you'll be doing anything almost anywhere in our world today.

I made numerous failed attempts to contact Customer Service. I even provided them with my after purchase experience and never heard back. It appears the external damage didn’t affect the functionality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from difficulty setting location, other I have been unable to set the OPENING screen to MY location, and/or eliminate the "information" boxes such as the quiz. By NO MEANS eliminate the "one drive" link, even IF you do NOT use the cloud, as doing THAT turns the computer into an expensive brick; (I found that out with a tower model earlier, with the same OS.) Otherwise, other than NOT having enough USB ports, it is a good machine; adding a USB hub solves the problem, OR you could use the built in "wireless" for accessory connections.

Rated 1 out of 5 by R Ram from DO NOT BUY! Horrible performance. Firstly when I ordered it I specifically selected 12GB RAM. It shipped with 8GB instead. To make things worse, when the computer is on and no apps are running, 80% of the RAM is used. Contacted HP support and they *generously* offered to take it back (minus 15% restocking), and to charge DOUBLE to get the exact one except with 12GB RAM instead. Waste of money. Be warned.
