Excellent for Retires

Computer is fine - Need customer service!
The computer itself is fine - we only use it for schoolwork and the speed is great, functionality is great. However, I’ve really struggled to get in touch with customer service. I intentionally bought two [nearly] identical computers to be used by my two children. On one, I was able to set up a child’s profile, no problem. On the other, I cannot. I’ve spent hours researching the problem and attempting to get in touch with someone to help, and it seems impossible to find a live person to help. None of the help links address this. I’m leaving a 1 Star review in hopes that someone will see it and help me. I will gladly change it back to 5 stars once I see this company has a shred of customer service.

HP Laptop a Model of Efficiency
I predominantly use my HP Pavilion desktop; I purchased the HP laptop to take with me on a six-month excursion to Mexico. Having set it up with the help of an HP agent, I am becoming acquainted with it, and finding it to be an efficient device that I look forward to using on my extensive trip. Two HP agents were indispensable in helping with transfer of the desktop files via the PC Mover, which completed the task without a hitch.

HP is my standard
I always buy an HP laptop. My only complaint is that the battery doesn't last long enough. When I finish using it, I close the top but don't shut it down. Normally there would still be some battery time left when I open it again, but I always have to plug it in to use it.

what happened to the cd/dvd drive?
