It just works. Buy it.
The virtual display option on this monitor is a game changer. Using it, the monitor behaves like two monitors next to each other. I can maximize windows, share my screens during video conferences, etc. without using the full physical size of the monitor. I love that. Switching between my PC connected over DisplayPort and my laptop connected via USB-C isn't the smoothest, but it works. I'd recommend this monitor to anyone with the desk space to support it.

Terrible Experience
This monitor was no functioning on arrival and I am still waiting for a replacement to ship. It took me over four hours and multiple calls and chats to even get to this point. HP has gone significantly downhill in quality and customer service.

When using the Virtual Dual Display along with the laptop monitor (i.e. 3 monitors) should I except to have max resolution on all three monitors? Currently, I'm getting max res on only 2 monitors and on the 3rd monitor (the VDD) its being limited to 720.

HP Device Bridge 2.0 works with two computers and is compatible with Windows 10 and higher and MacOS 10.14 and higher platforms. The HP E45c G5 DQHD Curved Monitor also has KVM-switch compatibility as well. For KVM-switch compatibility, if connected PCs do not have USB-C® port, the user will need a USB-C® to A cable.
