The value leader in computers, not just gaming.
The price vs. performance of the Victus is about the best there is. I've been so delighted with mine. The only complaint I had was that there was just a single USB-C port in front. None in back. But, because the motherboard included an unoccupied PCIE-X1 port, I used that to add 4 more USB-C ports to the rear via a $25 card. I also added a second SSD drive and upgraded the memory from 8Gb to 32GB. It's a very good pre-built which you can upgrade yourself.

What desktop?
I would absolutely love to review this product. Sadly I have contacted HP support about not receiving it. The first time the support agent told me fed ex received and it was now in there warehouse ie why the tracking info did not work. This was a lie to get me to go away. The second time Daisy apologized for me not receiving the product and assured me they would be sending it out asap and here we are still haven't received tracking information for the second desktop.
So I would love the review the product but instead I'll review the customer service- poor at best.
Tomorrow we contact HP one last time before initiating a chargeback.

Not so happy
I can't give anything but one star. As bad as I'd like to rate it a little better. I just can't. It took way to long for this to be completed. Your better off just going to the store to get one. Do not order from the site. You will be waiting months.

Works great
When I received the desktop (which was Late) it worked flawlessly and was very easy to set up. Its a nice computer, works fast with good graphics. My only complaint is the power button is not easy to use as it is recessed too much.

Sleek, modern design with cool feature once found.
Overall, this is an EXCELLENT device with an awesome, fresh design! Once you figure out that with the correct software installed, you can make the V on the front display in a different color with the option of 3 different modes (solid, pulse, quick pulse), Very awesome! It offers ample ports on both front and back, which makes it great for almost everyone. However, as someone who has grown up with computers and been using HPs since Compaq existed, there are a few things I expected differently or would have liked to see (now that I have it in person). First, I was surprised that by upgrading the graphics with dedicated DP/HDMI ports would mean the built in ones are covered/blocked/removed. I mean, I guess it makes sense, but having both options would have been nice. Also, knowing that I can add another drive to the inside is pretty cool, however, it cannot be another NVMe M.2 device (wanted a second high quality drive to install my games on). So, the back options are kind of 'meh' with 4 standard USB ports... The ports on the front are great and I plan to add an external Samsung Pro 980 with it's own case, but it will have to plug into the front, which means it will stick out, and take away from the sleek design of this tower. Had a couple quality USB ports been added to the back, the front could be kept clean for essentials or temporary drives. Aside from that, as with any device these days, extra software... Most can easily be deleted but it just takes time. So, in conclusion, for 99% of the consumers out there, this is an EXCELLENT device with an AWESOME modern design! I DO recommend this product!

Right on the money!
Compact little powerhouse. Aesthetically pleasing. Comes equipped with everything you need, and virtually nothing you don’t. Well-balanced and refined. Can’t say enough about the value for performance ratio. HP nailed it with this one. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

HP Victus 15L DT TG02-0366qd
The HP Victus 15L replaces my obsolete HP Z400. I fully expected the Victus to be vastly superior to the Z400, and it is. In fact, it's probably overkill; I wanted a computer that could handle video and image editing, and the Victus does it all without breaking a sweat. 16gb DDR4, i7 12700, GeForce RTX 3060, 512 GB SSD, 1TB HDD - there's a lot to like about this PC, and I really, really do like it. My only gripe is that the case is a bit noisy (vibration/harmonics - not fan noise), but I plan on adding some sound dampening material which I'm hoping will alleviate that. Overall, a fantastic machine. No buyer's remorse here. Like I said; probably overkill, but it's far better to have too much computer than not enough. Would definitely buy again.

Light it up.
Easily customizable. The only problem I had was with the graphics card upgrade. I needed to attach 4 monitors and needed to know the specific model and know which cables I needed to attach. They were not all the same and I needed to buy different cables. Other than that, the computer is silent, quick, and looks good when lit with the V lighting up. I always stick with HP. I bought a backup Pavillion a few months ago and accidently got the white vs the silver. So pay attention to that color when changing options. That Pavilion is also a great computer.

HP Victus 15L reviewer from
Great PC with some cooling issues that are easily fixed.
Can run very hot and the auto setting for the fan speed is not great. If you run it on auto fan speed a good thing to do would be to take the side panel off and that cooled mine down pretty instantly. (Almost 20 degrees fahrenheit in some cases) What ended up working best for me is running the fan at max speed when playing games and auto for everything else. Do plan on getting a new 80mm exhaust and intake fans. This desktop only has one exhaust fan at the back and cant keep the CPU cool enough when running very CPU intensive task when the fan speed is set to auto. Great desktop though, especially for the price. If you do experience the overheating these Victus desktops are known for then just remove the side panel and if that doesn’t work and you are willing to listen to the fan then change the fan speed setting to max with the side panel on. By all means though love this PC.

Upgrade or Downgrade?
I was disappointed that it was a downgrade from my Phoenix. The PC itself is nice. Works well. Win11 is smooth. Gratefully I had my "bells and whistles", external dvd rom, external Hard drive enclosures, because there is none. I bought this strictly for the processor and graphics and that is what I got. For the gamer I'm sure it's worth the buy.

Got it where it counts!
I've had it only a week but only one issue to troubleshoot. I like the size of the case, the ports (gifted with Displayports). The unit is very acceptable for speed BUT I am not a gamer (business only) and has the right amount of storage for my needs. If you're a gamer - read someone else's critique. My reason for purchasing was to support multiple screens (Windows 11 Pro) and I am unable to use the USB-C port for my 15" touchscreen. I think I'll be able to work through this but that's the reason for only four stars - else its five!

Bought this gaming desktop mainly for work, but wanted to see how the multitasking would perform. I absolutely am quite satisfied with it. My grandson hasn’t had too much of an opportunity to play games but he is satisfied with performance.

My new bundled HP Victus Desktop
My HP Victus 15L Gaming Desktop is working very well as expected. The wireless mouse and keyboard worked from Sept. 29 until Oct 9 when they both ceased to work. Thankfully this Victus desktop was also shipped with a wired mouse and keyboard, so I am back in business. I am very pleased with the Hp Victus Desktop and Hp Screen and wired mouse and keyboard.

Nice quiet computer
Very nice desktop, fast and quiet. Much faster than my previous i7 HP model, which was about 10 years old. Also much quieter. However, it is not clear what the maximum memory can this computer support -- it is said 32G with 2 memory slots in the description, but using the command-line command, I got an answer of 128G with 4 slots available. I have not opened up the computer, but wonder if someone else, or someone in HP, can tell me and other buyers what the real maximum memory this computer can support.
