Right after receiving the PC, the first BIOS update caused the computer to completely stop working. Also there were some other unidentifiable issues making the pc not working properly. I spent hours trying to resolve the issue, but nothing worked. For such an expensive PC, this was a huge letdown. Overall, this has been a horrible experience, and I expected much better from HP.

They replaced and it just last month it started happening again, with a different GPU. I owned this PC for 12 months now and 6 of them this issue has been happening. I submitted my problem to the Microsoft page and provided a minidump file. They said there's something wrong with the graphics card. This is not something that you want when you're spending over $5000 for a PC.

Hello and thank you for your question. Unfortunately no for multiple reasons. RAM generations are traditionally not backward/forward compatible. In this case, the motherboard on this HP OMEN gaming desktop is built to support only DDR4 RAM.
