Shipping problem
Nobody responded back to me! This was a Christmas present for my Son and it shipped directly in the box with the picture of the gaming monitor on it. So 1 we pull up and my sim saw it and 2 it’s an expensive item to not put in another box to hide what it is. Not a great way to ship with all the people stealing packages these days. Still waiting for a response from HP

Good multi-use monitor
Good monitor, I would recommend to others as a first gaming monitor. Good I/O and features. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the package literally came with a hole in the front of it, this was in no way HP’s fault, I’m blaming it on the careless FedEx driver who dropped it at my door. Overall good product.

Monitor will not sleep.
Great monitor except that it won't enter sleep mode. Have to turn it off manually or else it cycles between trying to enter sleep mode and showing a display error even though the HP Victus 15L is in sleep mode.

TRUE 240HZ MONITOR, GREAT FOR FPS GAMES!
I have the Asus 27 inch 280hz as well and I am very impressed with Omen X 27 24 gaming monitor. I'm playing competitive peer 2 peer FPS games and the performance and color from this monitor is great. No screen tear, high frames rate, low response time and accurate responses. Im seeing my enemies before they see me and Im hitting my targets through small door gaps and such.

Worth the Money
Purchased a new gaming tower and decided to go with this monitor vs all the rest. I'm very happy I did. It is crystal clear and never shudders. It was worth the money. It has a lot of cool features. Such as the desk light on the bottom that is easy to turn off, and even a rgb square ring behind it that lights up my wall and adds really awesome ambiance. It comes with an hdmi, and 2 digital cords USB and standard. The stand is also a built in headphone holder, another cool feature. Some reviews complained of it not working out of the box, but mine had no issues and my less tech savvy friend had no issues setting it up.
A few cons.The power button is kinda awkward to press as it is a few inches up on the back panel when reaching from the front. It is easier to press from the side, but I have limited space and I cannot reach it from the side.
My only issue is probably due to error on my part. I can't get the ambient lighting rgb, to turn on automatically, I have to manually turn it on. It always defaults to the desk light to be on.
Plugging in hdmi and other cords is a little strange as it is hard to see the symbols, but I dont plan on unplugging often.

I'm happy with the the Omen 27i monitor for playing video games. It is big enough to see when I sit on a recliner 8 feet away. Colors and screen resolution are fantastic.

Alright monitor overall
For the price there’s now more competition and options that offer more ports and have better placement of the audio/ headphone jack. It’s a TN panel and we all know both VA & IPS panels are going to offer better color. With that being said it’s a decent monitor. I wish you could change the color of the LED from red to something else and I wish it actually had more ports as many other options at this price point do. One DP + one HDMI in 2021 *thumbs down*

I haven't opened my package, but every thing seems to be okay. It arrived in a timely manner and it was well handled. I trust that every thing is working fine. I'm just waiting on my gaming pc to go with my monitor. Besides that, I'll be on it now. I totally trust hp. My laptop I recieved from hp runs flawless. HP rocks and I highly recommend their service. What is the minimum height of the monitor when set to the lowest position on the stand?
The height of the OMEN 27QS QHD 240Hz Gaming Monitor is 52.2 cm or 20.55 inches. From there the height can be adjusted down a maximum of 100mm or 3.93 inches or 16.62 inches in total. Hope this answer helped and thanks for your question!

I have this monitor but im currently having issues, in all my windows and nvidia settings the monitor is set to 1440p 240 but whenever i go to the onboard monitor settings it says its set to 165hz at 1440p and i cannot change it.

I just purchased the OMEN 27qs QHD monitor. I have 2 questions. Can the internal speakers be turned off? Can the light in the back of the monitor be turned off?
Thank you for your question! Yes, there are many different ways to mute the speakers on the OMEN by HP 27 inch QHD 240Hz Gaming Monitor - OMEN 27qs. If on a Windows PC.
To mute the speakers on Windows 11, you can click the Sound icon in the Taskbar, which looks like a speaker.
You can also access the sound settings by searching for "Sound settings" in the Windows search bar. In the sound settings, you can choose the output device, such as internal speakers, external speakers, or a headset.
