Beautiful picture
The omen x 27 has added a wonderful experience to our gaming experience. The HD picture is absolutely amazing. It was very easy to assemble. Also all the cords you will need are included. I am so very pleased with this monitor and the experience it has to offer. It takes computer gaming to a whole new level.

Amazing monitor!
The omen x 27in monitor by hp is amazing! However, do take note that while some gaming monitors do have built in speakers this one does not. You will need a tower that does, or if you're using it with gaming consoles you will need a headphone jack , or available USB port for a headset. My response time shooting wise in my games is 110% better compared to when I game played on my tv. The clarity on this is from a whole new world. It is also adjustable which comes in handy for multiple things like getting to the wires, to plug thing in, different positions for where you want to sit and play, ect. The images are 10x clearer than I've experienced before. It is seriously mind blowing. It also has a anti glare screen that's great if your playing in a bright sunny room. (I use to have no other choice but to use black out curtains, now I don't have too!) The HDR is amazing, as well. This monitor also glows red towards the bottom which helps me see the plug in ports, and wires. The HDR makes for faster response time (as i previously mentioned has improved dramatically for me.) in first shooter games like COD , Ect. The monitor, and wall mount that comes with it makes the box very heavy in advance. Please make sure if you have back problems to ask for help so you don't risk hurting yourself, or your monitor. The monitor is very ew easy to set up , and immediately start playing on. To clean your screen from all the handling of setting up I recommend a microfiber, extremely soft cloth. (Please don't use cleaners! It can do major damage to any electronic device with a screen!) Over all, I'm very happy along with impressed with this monitor.

The Greatest Monitor!
I never been so excited to set something up and use it! When I tell you it was the easiest monitor I’ve ever had to set up! It was! Right now I have it setup as a video and audio studio 2nd monitor connected to my MacBook, & that was breeze to set up! I love it! I tested my PS4 on it, waste of time, didn’t set up my gaming computer to it yet to see how it’ll look, but I don’t really care!

So freaking cool!
This came in on Valentine’s Day and my boyfriend was so excited! Screen is huge, clarity is great, and just all around a really awesome gaming screen! He loves it! Receiving this item free to try has prompted my boyfriend to start remodeling his tower to match the awesomeness of the screen!

Gorgeous Display, Ideal for high speed gaming

Gaming Monitor King!
Great Monitor, Games very smooth and the visuals will blow you away if your used to 1080p. The only bad thing is you will need a super computer to push this thing to its limits, this is also a good thing because its future proof meaning when a new video card comes out the performance will only get better. The price is a little higher than i wanted to pay but seeing as how this will be my main monitor for years to come it will all be worth it in the end.

Fast 240Hz 1440P Gaming monitor!
My monitor arrived in great shape with no dead pixels. Out of box color was kind of mediocre. After adjusting settings and dialing it in I am very happy with gaming performance. Colors are great for a TN panel and really right there with an IPS without all the backlight bleed. Of course viewing angles are not the greatest as this is a TN.
I am however a bit disappointed in the excessive AG coating on this display. It makes white and lighter colored backgrounds grainy looking. While you won’t really notice this on gaming tasks, you certainly will on daily tasks such as simple web browsing. If it were not for this I would have rated this gaming display 5 stars.

Moving from 60 to 240Hz is incredible.
I bought this mid last month and it's transformed my gameplay completely. Now I just have improve my reaction time. Unfortunately I can't buy that.
1440p compared with the 1080p 240Hz screens?? There is no comparison. With this you get exceptional detail and speed.
The only thing I'd like to see in addition is a desktop control software for the screen. Just like the competition has but that's just a small issue as the rear button control is a little tricky. Also auto screen sleep would be nice, I seem to have to have to manually turn the screen off when I turn off the computer.

the DisplayPort cable included... does it support DP alt mode?
Thank you for your question! This Omen HP display comes with a DisplayPort cable. This is not a USB-C cable that is included but a DisplayPort cable. DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP Alt Mode) is a feature that allows USB-C ports to transmit video and audio signals, including high-resolution video output up to 8K. This is possible by remapping the USB-C high-speed data pins from USB data to DisplayPort data. DP Alt Mode allows a USB-C-equipped computer to connect directly to a display or monitor that has a USB-C port.
