The most amazing monitor I've ever bought!
I was really on the fence about this monitor being that it was new and the fact that no one had reviewed it already. But I will say that it is the best monitor I've ever seen and used in my life. Honestly it's better than the tv that I bought a couple of months ago that was 3 times this price. If you are on the fence about it, I'd say just do it!

Beautiful image and premium build
Great colors and wide viewing angles from the IPS panel. Coming from a 144 Hz panel, the even higher refresh rate is a nice touch. Text looks crisp, and there's lots of real estate on screen. The default response time without the gaming mode on is unnoticeable, even for high action games and e-sports; regardless, you have the option to lower that response time a little more with the introduction of some pink smearing on your screen.
The build feels very premium, and I love that I can plug in my peripherals to the monitor for better cable management.

Would wait for other similar monitors to come out.
Pros:
240 hz 1440p with low input lag.
Monitor style is sleek no gimmicks that look gaudy.
Can turn off distracting lights on the monitor.
Cons:
Vesa mount is terrible, very loose and makes monitor hard to adjust.
Anti-glare coating is bad, very noticeable on white or light colors.
Not sure all settings are available in the OMEN Command Center and the OSD is hard to use.
Viewing angles are not the best, but this is expected for a TN panel, doesn't really affect games.
Overall I should have paid more attention to the other reviews and waited for other 1440p 240hz monitors to come out.

Its future proof!
If your system can handle 240fps at 1440p then get it. Other than that this monitor is made for competitive gamers who really need all fps they can get and now at 1440p. If you are serious gamer that plays overwatch, csgo, and modern warfare team death match(not warzone) then this monitor is what you need. Fast response times. This monitor will not get outdated fast either. Its the first of its class.

Wow. Just WOW!
Unbelievable right out of the box. Faster than anything I've seen and outstanding picture. The screen was so awesome for gaming that I decided I had to see how it was with movies. I put in lord of the rings on blue ray just to check it out and watched the entire movie. Just all around amazing; it was like being at the theatre on my own PC. If you're a gamer this is the monitor to buy. Wow.

This monitor is amazing!
This monitor is great. The picture quality is outstanding! Best quality I have ever seen actually. I live how you can position it to each and every sitting arrangement. You can even mount it to the wall if you would like. I can hook my game systems to it and play my video games in it. Excellent sound on any speaker system or headphones with or with out a Microphone, your choice! I recommend this monitor to everyone!

Amazing response to graphics
First, the picture or graphic quality it amazing! So clear and no lagging when movement occurs! The response rate keeps up with ever game that both my 10 year and I played. I wish there where a few more hdmi ports, only draw back. But that’s an easy fix for HP to upgrade. We love amazing color of the actual body of the monitor ... so slack but yet visually appealing!

This monitor is amazing!
This monitor is absolutely amazing and I haven’t even played games on it yet because I have to wait till I buy a tower for it. But I hooked a speaker to it and a roku and are currently using as an extra tv. The graphics are out of this world and I love how the height is adjustable!! Set up took no time at all and it wasn’t hard to figure everything out without reading the manual. I’m in love with this monitor and can’t wait to get my tower so I can game on it!!

Pretty good
Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I was disappointed it only tilted and didn't turn more! All in all, great product! I love the fact it was clearer and lag was significantly less! Definitely recommend it if you game alot like we do!

I'm not much of a gamer. My husband plays at times. The Omen X 27 240Hz gaming monitor is perfect for the gamer. It has an amazing picture. It's also fast. Has a fast boot up. Has a great color to it. Even when it's a dark game, you can still see it nicely. I've seen some where you barely can see anything and makes playing extremely hard, but not here. I really am impressed with how good it works. We've had no issues with it at all. We've evened enjoyed playing more games with it. Also includes a stand that was pretty easy to set up and keeps it stable. I definitely recommend this one. I think even big time gamers will like this. I see no flaws it in.

Amazing graphics!
My son has been begging for this type of monitor for about two years now. We finally got this and hooked it up to his regular PC, not expecting a lot, since it wasn’t a gaming PC.
However! The graphics were phenomenal. Very clear and crisp. My son is a huge fan and I have an even harder time pulling him away from his games haha! Would definitely recommend.

Best monitor I have ever owned
So many great things to say about this monitor. Super crisp graphics. HD Movies are beautiful. The stand it comes with is heavy duty and allows you to easily adjust the height and angle by just sliding it up/down and tilting with just a push. The 240Hz refresh rate makes gaming super smooth.The OMEN Command Center software is great to customize the color to your liking. I highly recommend!

Top of the line gaming monitor!
The Omen X 27 240Hz gaming monitor is a top notch gaming product. It has a beautiful picture and with refresh rate, you don't miss anything. I love playing on the larger monitor and I don't miss a thing. I can absolutely say my game playing is already improving and I'm stoked to continue using this gaming monitor. One thing I will say is this monitor does not have built in speakers so make sure you have your ear buds, headphones or speakers ready to go because you will be playing your best game in no time.

Great monitor for newer PC's
It's a great montior, awesome graphics, etc. Bright vivid colors, you can switch settings between standard, gaming, user preferences, etc. We like that you can adjust the monitor up & down and even tilt.
However, if your current PC tower doesn't have the right output plugs, you have to purchase additional cords to convert the monitors inputs. Which isn't a huge deal, as the cords are less than $10. But we had to buy 3 different cords to find the right cords that would work with the monitor & PC.

Unique Design
I am blown away by the unique design of this premium gaming monitor. The stand is metal and the monitor stand on it very nicely giving it a beautiful slim look. This has to be one of the best monitors I have seen compared to other monitors. The buttons are nicely placed on the backside and easy to press. It was very easy to put together and get it going. The pictures on the monitor while the game is playing are breathtaking and high quality. You can’t miss any details from the game from how high the resolution is on the monitor. We had friends over and they purchased one before even leaving our house from how good the quality HP presented in their product. This monitor I would highly recommend to extreme gamers. You can’t go wrong with this choice! The size is great, features, and everything it has to offer.

Ideal Monitor for extreme gaming at 1440p and 240
OK first off this is my second quality gaming monitor and this one smoked my last 240hz 1080p by farrrr. Fantastic clarity, true colors throughout. The response time and lag are so minimal.Please use the control panel to adjust colors and settings to get your optimal setting. I kinda didn't like the matte screen but i forgot about that while using. HDR freesync 2 amazing QHD for life.

The best item I've had a chance to review
From the very moment that I was able to request this I couldn't wait for it to get here, and now that I have it I'm in awe, it's such a beautiful display and such a sharp clear picture, I was kinda surprised that it doesn't have any speakers built in but one can always buy surround sound speakers and attach it to the audio port in the back.

Dope Gaming Experience
Ultra 4K type quality, G-Sync is super dope, makes gaming so smooth, easy to set up, but the menu is a little hard to navigate, but super fast processing.
It gets hot and I’m a little concerned about the lifespan on this monitor.
It’s a bit pricy.

Amazing monitor!
The omen x 27in monitor by hp is amazing! However, do take note that while some gaming monitors do have built in speakers this one does not. You will need a tower that does, or if you're using it with gaming consoles you will need a headphone jack , or available USB port for a headset. My response time shooting wise in my games is 110% better compared to when I game played on my tv. The clarity on this is from a whole new world. It is also adjustable which comes in handy for multiple things like getting to the wires, to plug thing in, different positions for where you want to sit and play, ect. The images are 10x clearer than I've experienced before. It is seriously mind blowing. It also has a anti glare screen that's great if your playing in a bright sunny room. (I use to have no other choice but to use black out curtains, now I don't have too!) The HDR is amazing, as well. This monitor also glows red towards the bottom which helps me see the plug in ports, and wires. The HDR makes for faster response time (as i previously mentioned has improved dramatically for me.) in first shooter games like COD , Ect. The monitor, and wall mount that comes with it makes the box very heavy in advance. Please make sure if you have back problems to ask for help so you don't risk hurting yourself, or your monitor. The monitor is very ew easy to set up , and immediately start playing on. To clean your screen from all the handling of setting up I recommend a microfiber, extremely soft cloth. (Please don't use cleaners! It can do major damage to any electronic device with a screen!) Over all, I'm very happy along with impressed with this monitor.

DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP Alt Mode) is a feature that allows USB-C ports to transmit video and audio signals, including high-resolution video output up to 8K. This is possible by remapping the USB-C high-speed data pins from USB data to DisplayPort data.
