I bought this 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive an email with my product code. I spoke with an associate by phone, and they told me they had to review the case and get back to me. Not pleased and if I don’t get my product code soon I want a full refund because I don’t have the code.

Excellent Product and Support
I purchased this shortly after I purchased an Omen by HP 17" laptop computer. Initially, I had elected to use additional licenses that I had available for ZoneAlarm Extreme Security, however, I immediately discovered fatal conflicts between ZoneAlarm and both the Omen Command Center and also with the HP Hardware Diagnostics. After extensive support sessions with both HP and ZoneAlarm's support technicians, the conflict with ZoneAlarm remains. Thus, I purchased McAfee LiveSafe and upon uninstalling ZoneAlarm and installing McAfee LiveSafe, all of the conflicts were completely resolved. It was disappointing that I had to forfeit the majority of a 2 year prepaid license to ZoneAlarm Extreme Security, but it is far more important to me to have both the security and smoothly running systems.

It says that I received a 1 year McAfee LiveSafe. However, my computer is still telling me that I'm on a "one month free trial". Why doesn't it say 1 year (or 12 months)?

Having a product like McAfee is a necessity. I have always used Norton, so I figured to give this a definite try - beyond that of the month long trial subrcription that came with the laptop I brought. So far, so good. My only worry is that I heard that McAfee full system scans could last more than eight hours. Thankfully, mine last about half an hour, maybe forty-five minutes; however, that could be because it is a new computer.

Good Laptop
I bought this a month ago and I am happy with it for the most part. Only issue is I bought a silver laptop and they have silver keys. This makes the keys hard to see in the daytime. At night if you use the backlight keyboard then it's ok but in the daytime, it cannot be seen well.

Decent computer for the price point.
Review of HP computer
In general the laptop is fine and competitively priced. I have found no major issues and it has 4 USB outlets which is generous. It is fast enough with i7 and 12 MG of memory.
On the negative side the screen is a bit close to being washed out (it is matte and needs more color pop), the sound is only OK and the keyboard is terrible, being imprecise/mushy and the flat keys are hard to work with. We had an HP laptop years ago which had an excellent keyboard, but now they all want to copy Apple’s flat keys but with low quality. Also, the screen is a bit too wide and low for my personal taste. Unfortunately, the computer took 2 weeks to arrive at my house.
In sum, this computer is produced at a competitive/attractive price and it shows it in terms of just good enough to get by but not impressive quality. I am reasonably content with the purchase, but would probably buy another model again due to the screen and keyboard.

All good so far
Had this PC about 1 month. Boots up fast (compared to my 5 year old Dell). Only complaint is that the letters/numbers on each key are difficult to distinguish unless the keyboard is at the right angle. Bright silver keys with or without the white backlight not always easily discernible.

It’s a lot faster then my old computer I have 12 gb ram and an I7 so that’s cool but I am disappointed in the battery life I use it for online school and hve to charge it after about 6 hrs run time my last one could go much longer. Also having the keyboard light up would be nice to do work in low light areas. Deficient over all though

McAfee LiveSafe was installed on the new HP Slimline Computer I just bought on 9/14/2022. I inadvertently deleted it because I thought another security product was on my computer. But I wasn't. Now can you tell me how I can reinstall it?

I got the McAfee protector Livesafe with my new HP Laptop! On the Mfg.'s site the price for a year was $34 for a years licese, and you get a 5 Device License Serial Numbers in addadion! What's the difference here for the same protector?
