Very convenient
This is the best anti-virus software I ever had. Not to mention I also saved like $39 because originally it cost $69 so, I only paid $30 for it and I have unlimited licenses which means I can use on infinite devices. This also protects you while surfing the web and it scans your device for viruses. Then, It scans the wi-fi you are connected to in order to see if it is safe to use. I would truly recommend this product.

HOW DO I EVEN DOWNLOAD THIS?
Terrible. I paid for the service, and every time I try to set it up it's incomplete because I don't have the activation number. No email came with it, nothing in the mail.

Protection gives peace of mind
I have not had any anti virus on my personal computer, therefore have not used it for about 9 months. I saw this special on HP and purchased it. It is downloadable on all my devices so I put it on my primary computer and my iPhone.

Can't NOT order this
I have absolutely zero need or desire for a McAfee trial. There's no option to NOT add the "free trial" on to the order. I know this is probably due to some sort of agreement between HP and McAfee, but I wish it weren't so.

Shorted Time
My McAfee 1 year service started before I received my computer. I just installed McAfee on 9/8/2020 and also lost 1 month of a trial that comes with the new computer. I feel I was shorted service time and that was a waste of resources and money. I would not recommend buying this product when you do not have your new computer immediately.

Antivirus (# 2) activation no. did NOT download +
Antivirus activation # did not work for first computer and then email about it disappeared to try again for 1st computer AND for 2nd computer's activation. HP laptops were for grandchildren for school... what I do to download the McAfee antivirus? Can you send email again? At this time would NOT recommend since was not possible download.

Love it, but the headphone jack doesn't work.
I love this computer but the headphone jack doesn't work. I tried everything to try and get it to work. Its never worked. Aside from that I love it... the color (dark purple), the screen size 17"/its sharpness, DVD/CD Read/Write Drive, the speed and storage availability...and much more. I would give it 5 Stats but because the headphone jack doesnt work I didn't. I would change my rating to a 5 if it would work.

Video doesn’t work two weeks in

Prefer Microsoft's Defender
I don't typical use any third party security software. I have tried McAfee on a couple other PC's and was not impressed as much as I am with Microsoft Defender. I will give McAfee credit for improving performance and using less resources. Its a good option if you want a more robust security suite. For myself it's just a bit much.

Should be an option to decline if not wanted
I bought a laptop product, but didn't want the McAfee product. Options didn't exist to not select this, and had to uninstall upon receipt. In addition, the laptop shipped dysfunctional, where the touch screen and pen did not work (the Folio laptop is highly dependent upon a workable screen/pen). The customer support was not helpful, in that all the support is automated bots. It took over 4 days to find out that in order to process a return, I have to call another 1-800 number. Frustrating to say the least, having spent so much savings in this current COVID environment. Should have just went down the street to buy a laptop locally that would have been guaranteed to work.

McAfee LiveSafe was installed on the new HP Slimline Computer I just bought on 9/14/2022. I inadvertently deleted it because I thought another security product was on my computer. But I wasn't. Now can you tell me how I can reinstall it?

I got the McAfee protector Livesafe with my new HP Laptop! On the Mfg.'s site the price for a year was $34 for a years licese, and you get a 5 Device License Serial Numbers in addadion! What's the difference here for the same protector?
