Great laptop, good quality build and material, very powerful, but it generates a lot of heat and fans are working almost constantly, Loud constant fans, even on idle and not power hungry tasks, are very annoying, it makes this laptop almost unusable for me. CPU is running hot most of the time.

I hope I get as many years of service out of this machine that I did the G2. The only issue I have had so far is with pushing the machine graphically for extended periods of time it runs hot and has shut itself down a couple times due to this.

1) I have the HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock for business and it does not appear to be charging my laptop: ZBook Fury 16 G10, 32 GB, 1 TB 2) What is the purpose of the slider button on the underside of the laptop? Thanks!

The HP ZBook Fury 16 G10 Mobile Workstation PC uses a 230W AC adapter. The HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock will not provide enough power to charge the HP ZBook Fury G10. The HP Thunderbolt Dock 280W G4 is the recommended Dock for your PC and can be found at this link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-thunderbolt-dock-280w-g4-dock-w-combo-cable

Thank you for the question about the ZBook Fury 16 G10. These units only have the one-color option at this time. While you can get a custom build option for the Fury 16 G10, it is only for the internals and not the external body.
