Rated 3 out of 5 by The box Sucks from No handle on the package box, hard to carry. The monitor is ok. The package box really sucks. It was damaged because there was no handle to hold on so the carrier must used a weak spot to lift it, so it got damaged.

I'm using it with a Macbook, and PC laptop. The webcam and microphone work great on Windows, couldn't get it to work on the Mac. But it works great as a monitor on the Mac, so I'm happy.

The integrated camera and mic are a nice touch -- no more using my laptop camera and having an angled side-view for conferencing. Single USB-C connection for media with 100W of charging keeps my battery healthy, and USB-A slots in the back replace the need for a docking station 🤌🤌

Of course I do not know if that is true, but that's what I was told. Monitor was shipped back and credit was received promptly. Aside, I purchased another HP laptop a week or so later, and it is wonderful. I love the 16" screens - perfect for writing, which is what I do.

I need to connect Z24M G3 QHD monitor by HDMI for video. For camera+microphone to work the user manual says that a usb-c to usb-c cable is required. The quick start guide says a usb-c to usb-a cable will in needed. What is actually required?

Either will work with this HP Z24m G3 QHD Conferencing Display. However, the USB-C is recommended as using a USB-C to USB-A can negatively impact video quality due to the slower data transfer speed of the USB-A technology.

It may be limited as it has only one DisplayPort 1.4 out and the connecting unit would also need a USB-C with power delivery with DisplayPort alt.

I'd like to use the webcam instead of the camera on my Macbook Pro. When I looked for options on indiviual apps like Zoom and Slack, the option for the webcam doesn't show up. Wondering if someone might know why

There is not a way to manually download the drivers and the drivers for the camera are not supported by Mac. I do apologize about that. You can try contacting HP Support to see about other possible methods.
