Ease of unboxing
When I recieved it I was super excited to open it up right away! I pulled out the instructions pulled all the parts out except for the monitor! The instruction were quite clear on how to put it together with it still in the box! I was please on how ya tear down the box to put the stand on! When I hooked it up to the computer, the ease of the instruction was a bit unclear but because of my experience on doing this I was fine! Now turning on the monitor is on the back side, right hand side all the buttons are located there to adjust. The problem is power is at the bottom, the rest are above putting ya hand behind can create fatigue! The buttons do make it unclear which to pick but because they are set up from top to bottom i just wish the power was in a separate location! I did turn the monitor off a few times! With teaching your self to feel the bottom button I manage to fix all the setting up! The s software really should explain everything more clearly! But then ya can contact hp! All and all I give this monitor a 5 stars! Two things I recommend to hp power button in a different location! Highlight everything in white not black to black! White to black for wording!

Great picture and loud sound
Nice to have the camera and speaker with a monitor all in one. The sound is loud and clear. The audio is a bit "tinny" so I still may have to use headsets for professional recording. The mic does not pick up people six feet away -- was hoping to use this for more than one person next to my computer but will have to also stick with external mics. So, great for use just by yourself and if you are not trying for professional sound quality.

The HP M27fwa monitor has great resolution. It works smoothly with my laptop. I can see 2, 3, or 4 additions screens worth of material in addition to my main screen. That makes my work faster and more accurate. It saves me from having to print out screens of material when I am working from multiple sources. So it’s a real money-saver. And it looks great!

Used monitor sold as new
The monitor I just purchased online from USA HP Store on Mar 06, 2023 shows a status online of Expired Factory warranty; Start date: January 9, 2022 End date: February 2, 2023.
It was sold as new but the label on the HP X27 FHD Gaming Monitor shows a manufacture date August 2021, thereby leading me to believe warranties expire while on the shelf at HP or else I got a used monitor.

10/10 yet to disappoint
got this monitor on sale and i’ve gotta say it’s completely changed my gaming experience. if you’re looking for a good monitor, trust me, you’ve found it. no dead pixels, thin bezels, great quality, matte screen, very fast response time. Suuuuuuuper adjustable, easy setup. 10/10 has yet to disappoint me, couldn’t be happier with my purchase

The HP X27qc is okay but…
The HP X27qc is okay but it certainly could be better for the same price. The curve is attractive and it works well - if - you only have/need one monitor, you have that one monitor Exactly set in front of you at all times, and Only have that one monitor present when connected to your HP laptop. I, unfortunately, do not conform to this mold. I have two laptops (both HP, both new within the last 6 months), 2 monitors (HP X27qc’s), and an HP G35 docking station. Even with this totally HP system, the components do t play well together. When I use the docking station I get a static line down the left side of both of my monitors. Maybe it’s the monitors, maybe it’s the docking station. Who knows. HP is no help. Reset this, update that, no follow up. Typical.
The monitors also “ghost” a Lot more than some of the other brands I’ve seen. The HP person I spoke with said that this is a “normal thing with curved monitors” but again, I haven’t seen this (to this degree) with other brands.
All in all, it’s okay for the money. Entry level. Beginner. Noob. Great color, nice pixel density, pretty easy to configure. Not an exciting mounting solution if you use anything other than the stalks HP provides, but it can be done. I use a two monitor VESA solution to keep the desk surface clear and mounting these VESA compliant monitors could have been a lot easier had HP held the plastic back a bit just below the mounting area.

Not a reliable product
This is now the 4th monitor, same model, that I have purchased within the past 2 years. They last about 6 months, and then stop working. I now have to admit that it is a design/manufacturing issue, and not just a luck of the draw on a faulty item. This last one arrived not working, so at least I will be able to return it, as the others lasted just long enough to pass the 30 day manufacturer's warranty. HP has always been a brand I trusted, but now I will have to look outside my trusted brand.

No price guarantee, not willing to help.
I purchased two of these monitors with a laptop and lots of peripherals. The very next day, before they were delivered, they went on sale for $80 less. $160 total. I called HP and asked them to match the price. They would not. Now, I was going to return them and repurchase at the lower cost and they said there was a re-stocking fee. I kept them, but decided my next purchase (2 printers and a laptop) would not be HP. Sorry they lost a customer.

with only 1 HDMI port how would I connect 2 computers to toggle A&B on one monitor?
Thank you for your question! The HP V27i can operate two different PCs. One via HDMI and one via VGA. Simply choose the correct input from the menu options. For two HDMI PCs, an external HDMI switch would be necessary.

What do I need do use to broadcast the sound from my iPad Pro with this monitor when using the HDMI port for video like YouTube? I am a pastor and this monitor is the only other tech in the church?
Hello Pastor Ray and thank you for your question! This monitor doesn't have built-in speakers. However, you should be able to purchase speakers that connect via Bluetooth to your iPad to fix this problem. Also, an HP display with built-in speakers would work as well. HP doesn't manufacture Bluetooth speakers at this time, but most Bluetooth speakers should be fine.
