Nice monitor but need to install drivers...
Nice monitor but it seems to have issues with most drivers that are stock on windows PCs. I hooked it to three different computers, two of which are HP commercial laptops, and two of them have pixelation is one or more of the colors. Mostly red pixels showing. It isn't unusable but moderately annoying that we need to troubleshoot a monitor hooked via HDMI.

Great screen lousy power connection.
The screen color is great !
The size is great!
Response time is great !
However, :( it has a loose power connection. Try to adjust the angle sideways or the tilt and it powers down. Then one has to finagle with the power cord to get it to come back on.

Excellent monitor for your work-from-home needs
Great work from home monitor to match my employee provided HP monitor. The bezel actually popped off a few times for no reason, but it's too much work to send it back. Other than the bezel not being sturdy, it fits great on a VESA monitor setup I have for my WFH office.

great monitor
The monitor is awesome and enjoying the desktop too. However, the HP ENVY 6000 printer refuses to hook up to the wifi. And yes, we have tried everything. I note it was made in Taiwan. Do you sell any better printers?

Good Monitor Good Price
We don't use them for gaming, just general computing. Bought 3 to go with a new HP computer during the back-to-school sale. Haven't had any issues, They have DP and HDMI inputs and also have the VESA mount. Had them about 5 months now and have no complaints.

It's a good basic monitor for the money.
It's a good basic monitor. I got what I paid for. The only complaint is that the unit is so light, the monitor sways on the stand when you turn it on/off. That button is located under the monitor, and not on the side. You have to place your index finger on the side and push with the thumb to keep it stable. Other than that, satisfied after three weeks. Let's see how long it lasts....

Purchased Monitor
1. The box did not contain any operational directions & when I went on the HP site, entered the id number, I got a message back it was inaccurate. The lack of written operation directions with the shipment does not reflect well on HP - are you that strapped for $?
2. The HDMI attachment was of poor quality. The attachment to the monitor was difficult to attach and maintain contact.
3. One of the things I wanted to do with this monitor was to connect to my iPad for my live exercise program. After mirroring the iPad screen to the monitor screen all sound on both screens went dark - no sound on either device. This is the prime reason for operating instructions in the box.
This is not the first time HP has fallen short of my expectations. I had an extremely poor encounter with your Service Dept. when asking about a broken paper tray on my HP printer. There final decision and advise mirrored the poor issues I had with the monitor.
It is likely unlikely I will do any business with HP again - in fact I have deleted your website from my favorites on my non-HP laptop computer.

Set up was a breeze, and quality is fabulous!
The monitor was really fast and easy to setup and connect to my laptop (via port replicator), and the quality of image is crisp, sharp and such an improvement over my old monitor (not an HP). Highly recommended!

Great Investment
I purchased two of these monitors for a dual screen work station for my wife. She works in design and has nothing but great things to say about the set-up. I have them on vesa mounts which is awesome for getting the perfect height and tilt. The display settings are great, especially the blue light control. She spends at least 8 hours a day in front of them so the strain on her eyes has been greatly reduced. Would recommend to anyone spending a lot of time using their computer.

Beautiful Display and a bargain.
So far so good after three weeks. Easy to set up, no issues. Small footprint. Beautiful HD image. It's a 24-inch diagonal, so a little big for close viewing, so takes time to get used to it. But great none-the-less, and a good bargain.

Is there a picture to show what the buttons on the bottom of the monitor do?
1st button on the right is to turn it on. 2nd button is color hues and brightness. 3rd is settings for, COLOR, IMAGE, INPUT, POWER, then menu, management, information and exit. The other 2 buttons is for saving changes etc. I have pictures but can't post them here.

does this monitor have audio like all monitors How can you sell one without sound
Not all monitors come with speakers! Higher quality monitors generally DO NOT have built-in speakers mainly because those speakers would be of lower quality than external speakers and would require design concessions to include them in the body of the monitor resulting in poor performance. Sure you can find plenty of low to mid quality monitors with speakers but these are monitors built with compromises for convenience and not quality. If you want a good monitor, buy a good monitor and some nice speakers to go with it!

Just received monitor. when I push on/off button monitor does not turn on. Followed instructions went to HP display store and it says it cannot find. monitor shows up in my hardware on computer

Will this monitor work with my MacBook pro as a second monitor?
That will depend on the MacBook Pro. This HP V24v G5 FHD Monitor offers an HDMI and VGA port. If your MacBook Pro doesn't have an HDMI port, most recent ones do not, then an adapter will be necessary. Thank you for your question!
