I was unable to register this product because HP does not recognize the serial number on it. To contact HP for resolution is just about impossible.

Where are the Srews?
The monitors are OK. But, I bought them because they were VESA. I expected them to come with the screws to attach them or at least the type of screws needed and where to find them.

I got a pair of these. I use a Raspberry Pi 4b - 8GB as my primary workstation. It had dual "micro" HDMI so these were ready! I'll be able to run my "project pi's" via the VGA ports on either monitor.

HP V24i FHD Monitor Review
Monitor arrived several days late due to FedEx. Not HP's fault. Top right corner of monitor has a dead spot in the display screen. It almost eliminates or blacks out the "x" to close down a window or program. Not worth the hassle to send back for a replacement. Performance seems very good. Satisfied with everything except for the dead spot in the top right corner. Mild issue that I can learn to deal with. Great price on the monitor.

These monitors work very well for my job.the picture is clear. The only thing I had to do was buy a couple new cables because my docking station only had display port connections. However, the monitors themseves work very well for me.

Very nice and crisp 1080p display. Could use more ports than just VGA and HDMI for input. In addition to VGA, I'd like to see two HDMI and one DisplayPort on this kind of model.

Not Bad for the Price
These are decent monitors, but nothing I do on my machine involves heavy graphics, so i don't know if these would work for everyone or not. The only feature i was disappointed that they were missing was the display port, but for the price point, they're worth what i paid for them.

Generally works great!
So far the displays have served my needs. I don't know if this is a macOS issue (I'm assuming this is the case so far), or it is a HP firmware issue, I have experienced the positioning (arrangement of displays) get swapped sometimes (once in a while, so far the problem appears to be showing up randomly). If an HP associate sees this and will report this, I'd love to see this issue get resolved.

does this monitor have audio like all monitors How can you sell one without sound
Not all monitors come with speakers! Higher quality monitors generally DO NOT have built-in speakers mainly because those speakers would be of lower quality than external speakers and would require design concessions to include them in the body of the monitor resulting in poor performance. Sure you can find plenty of low to mid quality monitors with speakers but these are monitors built with compromises for convenience and not quality. If you want a good monitor, buy a good monitor and some nice speakers to go with it!

Just received monitor. when I push on/off button monitor does not turn on. Followed instructions went to HP display store and it says it cannot find. monitor shows up in my hardware on computer

Will this monitor work with my MacBook pro as a second monitor?
That will depend on the MacBook Pro. This HP V24v G5 FHD Monitor offers an HDMI and VGA port. If your MacBook Pro doesn't have an HDMI port, most recent ones do not, then an adapter will be necessary. Thank you for your question!
