A good supplement to have
I have not used this yet as I just got my laptop and the accessories. But it looks as if it will provide versatility in how I use my laptop. I have to do powerpoint presentations and must connect to HDMI

Works fine so far
I have not tried all the features yet, but this is a better choice than a USB hub since it offers more flexibility, I can see this laptop running 3 monitors including the laptop screen.

Recommended by HP, two of them don't work with my new HP laptop. Not good.

Poor product
Could not figure out how to get the program installed in my computer. Instructions directed me to down load a program and use it to install. spent hours trying to do so and finally gave up and hired a local company to do it for me at $150/hour. I haven't had it long and just got a notice that the black ink cartridge is low and print copy will suffer. No notice before today and already the printing is spotty. Wishing I hadn't bought it now.

Does not work with 15t DY100 3 monitor setup
Does not work with three monitor plus laptop screen. I’ve been using a direct HDMI from one monitor, two others from insignia best buy hdmi to usb plugged directly into two factory usb ports in my HP Laptop i7 1065G7 10th Gen 16gig 512k ssd hd, Touch Screen. I wanted to streamline all the wire to the HUB. Hub Does not work with 15t DY100 CTO

Does not always work properly
It's great when it's working properly. (Using an HP laptop) Have noticed some issues.
1. Left hub connected when laptop went to sleep. Turned it on the next morning and got a frozen screen. Had to restart. Haven't had this issue with my computer before, but it only happened once.
2. When I plug the hub into my computer, it does not always connect. Or when I start my computer, it does not always connect. The only fix is just unplugging and plugging back in until it works.

Wish it had more HDMI ports
Wish it had two HDMI ports instead of one, but I was able to hook up my dual monitor to my laptop and that was the goal. I just have to plug one monitor into the hub and the other into the laptop

Misleading
The review is low because your website said multiple times that this would charge my laptop if it had a USBC. It will not charge my laptop it will only work as a dock even with a hundred watt charger and wire connected

For this price they ought to have USB adapters.
If you get this for your desktop, and your desktop doesn’t have a USB C port, and HP doesn’t have USB C (female) to usb (male) adapter, you have a totally useless multi port. Overpriced to boot.

A handy way to keep peripherals connected
Handy way to keep your peripherals connected to the hub and just have one cable to connect to the laptop. I also purchased a HP 65w power supply to power the hub. So far, so good.

I bought this and it works great on my HP work laptop HOWEVER I can not get it to recognize both monitors on my 2020 MacBook Pro. It clones the display on both monitors and inside System Pref > Display it only lists one of the monitors. Any Suggestions?
The 2020 13 inch MacBook Pro with the M1 processor only supports 1 external monitor via USB-C / Thunderbolt. Newer models with the M1 Pro or Max will support more. I have the same behavior with this laptop using other USB-C docks/hubs, and it is a limitation of the 2020 M1 13" MacBook.

I did order HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub, and I have two HP all-in-one desktop computers. Does HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub work to connect two computer in one screen? I do not how to say specific but I want to use just one Mouse and one keyboard
Sounds like you need a KVM switch. You can find them online with a variety of features, and support for multiple computers (desktop and laptop). A basic and reliable unit can be found for ~$50.

The HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub is designed to work with the USB-C charger that comes with your host PC. If your PC did not come with a USB-C charger a 90 W USB-C power supply is required. Be aware your PC must have an available USB Type-C® port integrated with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort to be compatible.
