Attractive, business efficient, ethernet port
I am 75 years old and this laptop meets my business and personal needs. I did not want a touch screen but you can order it with a touch screen. I did want the backlit keyboard and ordered it with one. I shop HP.com because you can personalize your order and you can get great sale prices. This is my first AMD Ryzen processor and I am pleased with it. The first thing I do is go in and disable a lot of Windows addons. I do not want my information in the cloud so I disable one drive and all cloud saves. This is my first experience with the HP wolf security, no problems so far. I have had several models of Dell laptops, Asus ROG laptop and HP laptops. This HP ProBook 465 G11 is my favorite despite Windows 11.

LOVE this zippy ProBook!
My job and life are best kept organized and on task by having multiple windows and big graphic programs open at one time so I can zip back and forth between them. So far, I'm crazy about this baby. It's super fast, brilliant screen, the backlit keyboard is wonderful, and there are enough eternal connections. Adapting to a new computer is always challenging during set up with your own personal preferences and other than having to learn to appreciate MS Edge, this was fairly easy.
One MAJOR suggestion is to offer an upfront guide to setting up font sizes since they are so small even when set to large, I was having trouble - older eyes and visually-challenged people will love you. Thankfully, I'm an adept and reasonably patient "how to" searcher, but my husband can attest that I growled and cussed while trying to make fonts larger across the entire platform which involved going to multiple places behind the scenes. Once I got that all figured out, I'm a happy girl on her 4th HP laptop.

HP USBC Dock G5 Don't waste your money
My HP ProBook 465 G11 is awesome. Fast and reliable. I also purchased additional HP products. The HP 725 Multi Rchrgbl WLS KBMSE works flawlessly. However I also purchased the HP USBC Dock G5 and it has NOT performed at all. It only supplies power to the ProBook, none of the USB or the HDMI ports work. I opened a support case HP Case Number: 5147997772 CRM:0086889002697 on 8/29/2025. After trying to downgrade the firmware with support the device is not recognized by the system. Support said it would require replacement. and opened Case Number: 5147997772. The validation team emailed and requested proof of purchase and a picture of the DOCK serial number that I did supply. Validation team rejected the serial number as they indicated it was not correct, and told me to contact dock support again and ask them to update the case. I have done that twice but still NO resolution. So I have a dock station that is useless. Very disappointed in the replacement process. I have been a long time supporter of HP products but am now questioning my judgement and may have to look at Dell for future purchase. Please help me resolve this issue. I expect products I purchase to work or be replaced but I'm being ignored, not by the Dock station team but the validation team. I'll be sure to alert all of my friends not to throw their money away on HP products. I would appreciate a resolution asap. I also purchased HP 65W USBC Laptop ChargerUS that apparently I don't need and want to return it (unopened product) but there doesn't appear to be an option on the HP website to perform this action.
Please help. Support is not working to assist

The battery doesn't last long
I had heard and read that this computer had a battery that lasted more than 5 hours, unfortunately it only lasts two and a half.

ProBook 465 16 inch G11 Notebook PC
I cannot comprehend why this computer has only 2 ports. I have a wireless mouse + wireless keyboard + wireless headset - so 3 ports needed. I had to buy a supplemental port to accommodate 3 very basic functions. The extra hub with wires is really unwelcome. My last HP all-in-one had 4 ports. I would have no complaints if not for this. But I would say that including only 2 ports is a major error in the design for this laptop. Otherwise A+ for this computer

Perfect Fit!
This laptop is working exactly as I hoped. I wanted the Ethernet port and the HDMI port and the only choice that was affordable for me was this laptop! It was VERY easy to set up. I'm an older, retired person and I needed something that gave me ease of use and this laptop fits the bill. I've only had it a short while and am very happy so far.
