    Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Flickering Screen I received the HP Probook via my employer. For the first couple of days, it worked great. I love the touch screen aspect, size, and overall modern aesthetic and functionality compared to my previous laptop. However, after a couple of days I started noticing that the screen flicks to black intermittently for a split second. Our IT specialist has helped with various remote troubleshooting, but nothing seems to work. As time has gone one, the flick to black sometimes lasts up to 3-5 seconds. Recently, it even shut down after flicking to black. If this is a known issue, please advise on how to fix it.

I contacted HP and was told that it was a previously purchased unit by one support person and that is the reason for the early expiration. This was a misrepresentation of what I thought I was purchasing. It has been a month and still no resolution of the warranty or apology for what I consider shady practice.

    Does this laptop have a backlit keyboard? Under the specs it states: optional backlit keyboard with DuraKeys. But its not clear if that is a choice when ordering or just a choice whether you want to turn it on or not.
