Great BUT....
Great laptop overall but terrible battery. I charge it and after only a little bit of use the battery is already drained. I have an older HP laptop (8-10 years old at least) and that battery last 2 days with comparable usage. Very disappointed in battery life as it hinders traveling and completing schoolwork where electric outlets are not as easily accessible

Issues with the keyboard.
The whole product is good but I'm facing an issue with the letter L on the keyboard. It's not getting typed sometimes, and I have to click it multiple times to make it work. It's annoying to stop between typing something fast.

Great PC / Questionable Support
Upon arrival, this PC would not display anything on its screen. After 2+ hours of chatting with tech support, they suggested sending me a label so I could ship it out for repair. This process would have taken weeks, but I needed the PC for a new employee starting in 4 days. I dug my heels in and threatened to send the non-working PC back and dispute the CC charge. Then I got to speak with a representative in the USA who was very helpful. He sent a replacement PC out immediately, Fed-Ex Priority, got me an RA for the broken PC and even a discount for the trouble. The new PC arrived in time and saved the day.
The replacement is working great, as expected from an HP. This is not the first HP Pavillion I've ordered for our small company, and it won't be the last. We got off to a bumpy start, but HP came through. Thanks!

Is this convertible
Hello. Thanks for your question. This is not a convertible laptop. I advise looking at the HP Pavilion x360, HP Envy x360, or HP Spectre x360 laptops. They have the capability to flip into four modes: laptop, tent, presentation, and tablet.

How many external monitors does this laptop support?
Hello Cliff and thanks for your question! This HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg2097nr features an HDMI port for external display. The USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) is compatible with an external display as well but this is also used to charge the laptop. The HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock is a good option for multiple external displays and will provide more ports as well. Because this laptop does not have an Ethernet/RJ-45 port, if I buy a USB C dock that has the port, will it work the same way and allow me to use as a direct connection to my internet or network connection? I want to make sure it will support before I buy

This arrived yesterday. It is great. However, I ordered a wireless mouse which came without the doogle or usb port connector. Please provide,
2nd question my new laptop speed is supposed to be up to 4.7GHz. Device Specifications, under System/About indicates it is 1.7GHz. Why?
So if this computer doesn't have a backlit keyboard (as is stated below), why does it show up above that it is a full backlit keyboard? And why does customer service swear up and down that it is when I state that it is not?
Two questions; 1. Received my laptop 11/28/2022. The box was damage, there was a puncture. Found air vent on the bottom of laptop was damage, has a slit. Ran hardware diagnostics and all had passed. Could it have caused any other damage to laptop?
