Win 11 issues
The product is fine, the operating system, Win 11 stinks. It keeps opening unwanted windows if you just breathe on the keyboard.

HP Pavilion will not boot or shut down.
The Pavilion will not boot and will not shut down. I have over 40 pages documenting the attempts to correct this issue and many other issues. The double hard drives with the Windows 11 are NOT compatible. I have worked over a month downloading the HP troubleshooting and repair, as well as the Windows 11 "solutions". I have spent weeks reviewing the internet suggested solutions without any success. My other computer is a HP tower and the hard failed after 10 years of home office use. I need a simple operation with word processing, internet connection and a spreadsheet. I do NOT need a computer with a cloud connection and 46 loaded apps. I will not recommend this computer with Windows 11. We are being forced to change to Windows 11 and I am not happy.

lower quality than my previous HP PC
This PC is much lower quality than the HP PC I had to replace. The materials used to build it seem very flimsy. I hesitate to use the CD drive for fear of breaking it. I don't expect this PC to last 13 years like my previous PC.

Doing business with the HP store is GOOD business.
The Pavilion Desktop TP013055xt is a fast and good system, and HP is great to do business with, but Win 11 leaves something to be desired; NOT the fault of HP.
I had a problem shortly after install, (I goofed somewhere, obviously as instructions are minimal,) then due to a windows AUTOupdate, which can NOT be turned off, the system locked up and wouldn't let me in, MS wouldn't FIX the problem, but HP took care of it promptly, by replacing the system.
Be sure to keep a written record of ALL questions and answers. used during the install.
Windows11 IS better than 10, but the programmers made too many assumptions of what is wanted/needed, and installed some things, by default, that are difficult/impossible to turn off, (like MSNBC news;) but you can work around these things.

Spend more time living, less time waiting on a PC.
I bought my new HP to replace another one I've had for 7-8 years. I I was impressed with its startup speed and fast access to doing updates on my website.
Downloading / uploading pictures had been very fast, as has been doing software downloads for my fishing electronics. A great system!

the HP Pavillion is a fine piece of equipment
I switched from a Dell XPS Win 10 desktop to the HP Pavillion Win 11 desktop. The Pavillion is powerful and fast. My biggest headaches in the transition involved transferring my data and applications to the new PC. With all of the offers for software trials and MS being a bit sneaky regarding default software, lots of time was taken dealing with those distractions. Maybe if I was not transferring years of data, etc., it would have been a different story. The benefits of having a SSD and a hard drive have been stated in many online sources, but exactly how to divide up the items from your old hard drive into two drives in the new PC required some scrambling and possibly some less than ideal decisions were made. An actual old fashioned owners manual listing the basic specs of the model for future reference and diagrams of the ports, USBs, power switch, etc would have been appreciated. There's something that looks like it might be a USB C down near the bottom on the front, but I have the PC on the floor and would have to crawl down there with a flashlight and a magnifying glass to be sure. If I had it on the desk as the designers must have envisioned, that wouldn't be much of an issue. Once I got my already paid for internet security software fully set up and worked through the MS diversions and complexities, the actual HP Pavillion is a fine piece of equipment. The startup time is unbelievably quick. I can't blame HP for the problems from MS.

HP cares about their customers. This is a good computer. Buy it now before the price goes up. It has a built-in DVD Writer and Wi-Fi so you are all set for Windows 11.

Light blue ink on white UNreadable
I'be had lazer burns on both retinas to prevent total blindness; however, it causes me NOT to be able see see light blue colored ink on white background. I have worked with computers since 1974 and PCs since 1990 but I cannot find a way to change the color of ink on the documents and windows to black ink on white that does not change my desktop display background to solid white. unacceptable! Also the same problem with my Windows 11 keyboard I cannot see the light blue markings on the keyboard and am constantly making keyboard mistakes. Unacceptable!!!

A Good Buy for Desktop PC Users in a Home Setting
The HP Pavilion and monitor work just great now. Had trouble understanding monitor controls vis-a-vis PC turning off and on, but resolved the issue. Also, the power switch on the tower is too small and is somewhat recessed so it's hard to depress it to turn on the PC. Wish it protruded and little bit and was larger. PC itself, with included Windows 11, is very fast, due to having both hard disk drive and solid state drive coupled with 2T memory. Windows utility features (Defender firewall/antivirus, defrag, disk clean-up, disk check) work well but are not easy to find. Took me a while to uncover them, and now all is good. Has one-year manufacturer's warranty. Shipped quickly (ordered online from HP store directly) and arrived timely in good repair.

High performance desktop
A well made product that works fantastic snd had the ultimate in storage dor me. I do a lot of Engineer work on it and have barely used the storage become there is so much. It is adept at performing with SolidWorks, Matlab, design and mechanical computer tools. I highly recommend this pc tower and it is small enough to sit under my desk and not get in the way of my legs.

DISAPPOINTED
Disappointed in the sound of audio (music) playback. Very tinny sound. I got this for this purpose and it's a let down. Should have gone w/ a Dell. My Dell laptop sounds much better. Now I'm stuck with this. Sometimes it's not wise to save a few (hundred) dollars. There should be a light that shows when the hard drive is working, power button is recessed too much, labeling of the ports are dull. Pro, your choice of connections.

So far, very good
This is my fourth Hp desktop and I've never been disappointed with any of them. Setting up was a breeze. I've only had this one for a couple of weeks, but so far I've not found anything that doesn't work. The SSD drive is really great: boot time is about fifteen seconds. I can't say that I'm impressed with Windows 11. Seems to be much change for the sake of change. But the machine itself is good. Two things I think could be improved: 1) the power button is a little difficult to manipulate. and 2) I wish Hp would go back to the tray type of optical drive. We use this drive often and on this new machine it's very flimsy and difficult to load. I suspect it may not last long. But for now all is well.

NOTHING LIKE A NEW COMPUTER TO INSPIRE
I had the same HP desktop with the same specs, but after 8 years, I thought it needed more pep, so I ordered a new one and was glad it came in white. My entire desk area is white, which makes me feel inspired to get to work. I was glad to see that transferring my 91,000 files could be accomplished wirelessly with Carbonite. I'm getting used to the Windows 11 program and it's all systems go!

HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt Computer Good BUT Microsoft's OneDrive Costly & Inconvenient
I like my HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt computer. It's smaller and gives me more space on my wooden desktop. I like that: smaller is better. I have only ONE complaint. My new computer came with Microsoft Office 2024 Perpetual. And Microsoft apparently enabled its OneDrive software feature on my computer by Default. Once the software was on my 3055xt computer, Microsoft started uploading everything on my C-Drive to the Cloud, AND then I could no longer access my own (i.e., Word, WordPerfect and PDF documents etc.---35 years of them too!---from my C-Drive. To correct this "mistake" made by Microsoft, I had to pay a computer technician about $200.00 to get my property back on my 3055xt computer's C-Drive and OFF the Cloud, and also turn off OneDrive software so that it does not do the same transfer of records again. Microsoft caused me a lot of trouble and worry.

Great operating system
This computer tower makes my home office and personal work a breeze. It boots up within seconds and allows me to complete task in a fraction of the time it has previously taken me to complete these tasks. It sets itself up and I had zero issues when transferring all my applications, files and settings with PC mover. I couldn't be more happy and impressed with this system.
