This model is humming louder than my old pc which was only the fan, windows 11 is not easy to find program files, drivers, system file has left column lettering much smaller than selected file as is all windows on PC.

In love with my new HP desktop

A good solid choice.
Setup was easy with no issues. I'm taking my time getting used to Win 11 and its many new features. This was a good choice to replace our old non upgradable Win 10 pc's. If you are not into heavy gaming, this PC is ideal for most everyone

Buyer Beware
This particular desktop crashes several times a week. It can’t retain my Microsoft ID or PIN. I’m not sure if it’s the CPU or the USB ports but something isn’t right and Windows 11 is up to date.

Replaced a dinosaur.
I replaced a 12 year old computer with this. The difference is remarkable. My old computer sounded like an airplane taking off when started, and I had to let it 'warm up' 5 minutes before I could use it.
This one is so quiet and has instant on. I just love it. Quick, quiet and much smaller.

Way too slow for a brand new computer
I purchased this computer to replace a 12 year old Dell computer. My old computer needed replaced simply because it was slowing down. I was looking forward to getting this computer because my husband got a new HP in the last couple of years and it’s been a great computer for him. I have been really disappointed in this computer simply because it is so slow. The start up is very fast, but loading programs and even simple internet pages is slow and even just typing is delayed. I really would like to send it back, but I’ve already went through all of the trouble to transfer my information to this new one.

Computer replaces a Windows 7 computer
Husband's Windows 7 computer finally gave up. This replaces it and while it is a good computer, he thinks it needs a keyboard that is not so compact. That will be a separate purchase and will be made soon. USB ports could use some annotation if they are drive D, E, etc.

Print cartridges didn’t work.
I can’t review the printer. It sits on the floor. Two of the ink cartridges are not being recognized by the printer so here it sits waiting for new cartridges. So much for your inspection prior to shipment.

I purchased this model for my daughter, who is in college. Once the factory warranty expired, the
computer blue screened. I'm a computer engineer, so I was able to get it running again, so we could pull all her files and work off, but that was about it. I purchased another desktop as the one I bought is pretty much useless. If it starts at all, it ends up crashing before I can shut it down.

Why are 2 of the 4 USB ports in the back panel blue indicating USB 3.0 when HP specified all as being USB 2.0? A customer will be deceived in believing USB 3.0 is available in the back panel if he does not check the HP specifications.

I am a gamer, so how does this hold up to heavy graphics games?
Hi Don and thank you for your question! This HP Desktop contains an integrated graphics card. The integrated graphics card is not recommended for heavier gaming. Our HP Gaming Desktops and our HP Omen line would be better choices for your gaming specifications.

Can a graphics card upgrade be added to tp01-2165z that will fit into one of the expansion card slots and can be handled by the existing PSU? I am interested in playing Diablo 4. I am not looking for top end graphics gpu, just something adequate for D4.
