    Rated 2 out of 5 by Quaaka from Make sure you have enough space in your DDR as the hard drive is not worth much The size of the DDR at 256GB was not big enough to put my system file and run Windows 11. had a 2 TByte hard drive on the system but its only use is for data not programs. This required me to send two of these systems back to HP and replace with a DDR of 512GB. Its interesting for me to note that I ran an entire business with 25 incoming phone lines and 10 users in 64 k of memory and 128 Meg of hard drive.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by desy from Good Value A good value for a desktop much faster then my old one. I am not a gamer , and don't watch movies on my pc , so it has plenty of ram and storage. One thing I don't like is the storage set up, hard drive and ss. I am not used to using the D; drive to save things but that is where most of the storage is, I guess I will get use to it. I also don't like that there is no light that shows when the hard drive is reading and writing.

It replaces a 12 year old HP Envy desktop. The ryzen 5 processor is good enough for my uses and so much faster than the old PC. My grandchildren use it to play Roblox when they visit and appreciate the speed. I have added a 1 TB ssd for document backup from a laptop. The 2 TB drive is used for backup of my photos. Works great, loving it so far.

The only reason I replaced my other HP's is because Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP, then the great Windows 7 operating system. I find the Windows 11 less organized, counter intuitive, and needlessly sloppy in its function. That's the only thing wrong with my new Hp, aside from the vertical mounted DVD writer. It's getting old throwing away perfectly good HP PCs, printers, etc.... whenever Microsoft decides to release a new operating system, that pales in comparison to the former.

The customer service representative was most helpful. Stayed within my price range and I purchased the HP Pavilion Desktop as stated above. I also purchased a 31.5 monitor and the ink program that included a new printer. I am completely satisfied with everything I purchased, and received in a very timely manner. The speed is amazing! I don't play games, but I do lots of multitasking. The AMD Ryzen 5 Series works perfect for what I need my computer to do. Runs quick, super quite, and boots fast. The disc drive is a nice comfort feature to have and the various ports both front and back are great. This model, HP Pavilion DT TP01-2165z, does have an HDMI port and VGA in the rear. I do use both slots and have a dual monitor setup. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone.

    Why are 2 of the 4 USB ports in the back panel blue indicating USB 3.0 when HP specified all as being USB 2.0? A customer will be deceived in believing USB 3.0 is available in the back panel if he does not check the HP specifications.

    I am a gamer, so how does this hold up to heavy graphics games?

    Hi Don and thank you for your question! This HP Desktop contains an integrated graphics card. The integrated graphics card is not recommended for heavier gaming. Our HP Gaming Desktops and our HP Omen line would be better choices for your gaming specifications.

    Can a graphics card upgrade be added to tp01-2165z that will fit into one of the expansion card slots and can be handled by the existing PSU? I am interested in playing Diablo 4. I am not looking for top end graphics gpu, just something adequate for D4.
