I wish to remain private from
Did not meet my expectations
It takes way too much time to wake up after being asleep. The camera and speakers seem low quality. I have used HP for many years, but this model did not meet my expectations. Perhaps it is time for me to find another vendor.

Great Beginning
I'm a minimalist that is why I prefer an all-in-one pc. I like the large screen and hope that eventually they come out with a larger size. I would like to see more ram option and additional drives included. I need and want a pc that is not just for email, web browsing but that can also be used for gaming, video editing and easy to open and clean when needed. This one is coming close to some but not all.

Could have or should have been a 5 star
The computer is great so far (I hope). Purchased "HP SmartFriend " (oxymoron). Within a month of setting up the computer, I had an issue with the keyboard, kept typing (W's) nonstop. Except when I took the batteries out of the keyboard. Called (hate to say it) Support 4 times, talked to 4 rep's and one manager through the rep. Each time, try this, try that, let's run this diagnostic as I kept saying it's the keyboard. On the last call the manager said he/she wanted to reinstall the OS. I said thank you, no thank you. I'm 76 very limited PC experience, but I know that when the tire is flat, I don't check the oil. So, I purchased a Logitech keyboard and mouse, problem resolved. For reference, Case numbers 5143143731 &5143213753.

nice desktop but .......
the computer its great but I did buy personal Microsoft software but its impossible to downloaded because then send me the code but not any link to download the software and I can't do it , I did send an email the company because nobody answer in customer service and them sed me the code again and NOT INSTRUCTION HAW DO IT !

I should have bought a Dell
I had a Lenovo stand-alone that lasted my 8 years without any major problems or operation difficulties. So when it was necessary to replace it I look at American computer manufacturers and decided HP might be my best choice. (I have been using HP printers for years and have 3 in use right now.) This turned out to be a bad decision.
I purchased the OmniStudio in part because I thought it would forever meet my dwindling needs. (I am retired and rely a computer less and less but I am used to having power at my hands.)
The Omni booted up nicely right out of the box. Then as I began to install my applications, MS Office, Quicken, MalwareBytes, for example, things went quickly south. The Omni now takes several minutes to start up. More often than not, the camera fails to recognize me and then takes forever to bring up a login option. Once I am finally able to see my desktop, the Omni forces me to sit and watch while it does something unknown in the background. If I walk away for a bit to let it do its thing it then goes to a dark screen and too often requires that I login again.
As an added irritant the HP mouse is simply a disaster. The mouse is sized for seemingly a small child's hand whereas I have a 9+" hand length and a 10" thumb tip to small finger tip spread,
The Omni is not by any measure a pleasure to use. Regrettably, HP alerted me that I had only 8 days to make a warrantee claim.
And before anyone thinks I have overlooked the obvious I did go into Task Manager and disable unneeded and unwanted startup applications.
I do regret I am unable to rate this Omni higher but I would be doing a disservice to any reader by doing otherwise. I can only suggest you look elsewhere for an Omni All-in-One.
