Entire system freezes frequently
I have had my HP OmniBook X Flip 16 for a couple of weeks now, and I have experienced frequent full-system freezes in that time. To the point where you have to do a forced shutdown because Task Manager won't respond. I've run diagnostics (extensive) and the diagnostics do not show anything failing, but in my opinion, a full system freeze is not something that should be happening to a new device with 32 GB of RAM when the only thing running is Google Chrome. Overall, I am pretty dissatisfied with this laptop's performance and hope the computer doesn't completely fail in the near future. There are many cheaper laptop options available that don't have these issues right out of the box.

Omnibook X never know what I'm getting
This Laptop has not been a smooth transition for me. The battery doesn't hold a charge. The FN key came on a couple times and I had to figure that out. I get bumped off WiFi for no reason. And I could not get back on---a window pops up BIOS update! I should not have to do an update on a brand-new Laptop!

Laptop and HP website
I had a devil of a time registering my Omnibook. The HP website kept losing my information. I did really like my Omnibook until in stopped working after 10 days or so. Tech support told me it was a serious memory problem, could not fix it over the phone, and to return it.

Had to upgrade for a port
I've had several HP computers, and it was just time for me to upgrade. I have an HP docking station that has a USB-C to connect to all my peripheral equipment. The first computer I bought, had the port, but it wasn't the "right" port to actually make the equipment work. I sold that computer and called HP to make sure I ordered what I needed. The ordering process was lack luster at best. The gal forgot what I needed several times during the conversation. I got a touch screen that I didn't need and don't use. I didn't get a number keypad, which I totally miss. This thing will periodically not show the log on screen where I put in my password. I literally just have to come back later for it to work. I have some HP advertisement that keeps sending notifications, so I have to mute the speakers if I don't want to hear it. I've tried to delete it, and I can't make it stop. So overall, I feel like I paid extra JUST for the port that I need to be able to run HP equipment thru and HP docking station and it has periodic tantrums.

Does this model come with the optional stylus?
Thank you for your interest in the OmniBook X Flip 16 (B88A8UA). That unit does not come with the optional stylus. The pen that you would want to use is the HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-rechargeable-mpp-20-tilt-pen for that unit.
