Rated 4 out of 5 by Happy with the Upgrade from Good computer for trouble free home use. Bought this HP for home use that includes email (connecting to others), office (spreadsheets, etc), and applications (like a small CAD program and other design software). This HP was in the under $1k category; replacing a non-HP that was purchased for $600 earlier in 2025. I recommend that purchasers consider investing in the more expensive HP for various reasons: ease of use (keyboard on HP much more tactical for better typing, numeric keypad helps when repetitive data entry required, and backlight for any-time use), configuration (able to connect computer to TV's and speakers for occasional group sharing and background music), and stability (solid WiFi 6 connections, Bluetooth works without being overbearing, and battery actually holds a daily charge).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandy W from Great Laptop & Fluid Transition this laptop replaced an HP laptop that I purchased from HP in 2012. After 13 years on the same HP machine, I was more concerned about mirroring all my settings and preferences. The transition over to the OmniBook 7 16" turned out to be seamless - especially with so much stored in clouds, and it wasn't difficult to move anything that was in my hard drive. As for the machine itself, it's great! Right out of the box, it was easy to set up and get everything configured. It's FAST and handles the functions that I use it for well, which is mostly for writing, spreadsheet work, and internet use. The only difference I noticed is the keyboard: the keys and letters printed on them are bigger and the buttons are more "clackety" and slightly stiff, but I'll get used to it over time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Girard from No one tested a prototype The power cord plugs into a stupid spot that blocks the rest of the ports. The power cord itself is so stiff that when it's plugged in it forms a large loop and gets in the way of the mouse. The track pad is so large and near the keyboard that it gets hit when I type. These 3 things are very poor design. Other than that it's just a normal laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Nice PC This PC was easy to set up and is sleek and light weight. Wish I could have an internal DVD in it. Getting used to Windows 11 was pretty easy. Like quality of HP products.
