Printer HP 9025e
It needs a larger " plate " - for lack of a better word - to catch print jobs so that they won't fall .

Looks nice, but noisy
The printer looks lovely and was very easy to set up, but the sad part is that it is very noisy compared to my 8600 series.

Nice Printer - problem with the printed 8.5 x 11 output running on floor
NICE printer.. except for the printed paper catcher- I sat on HP help desk for 2 hrs - with photo's submitted, on the 8.5 x 11 paper did not stop in the draw, after more than 3 pages printed, but went out on TOP of what is there to catch it and fell to the floor. I Could pull this flat catch out a little way, but you will still have the problem; pulling it out too far results in a very unstable output catch. HP sent me a replacement part, but it was the exact part I had. I believe that it is not really meant to catch the standard paper. I've pulled it out as far as it should go, then duck-taped the flat drawer to right length to properly catch the paper.

Ok, but with concerns
After limited use, printing has been of good quality, but slow and noisy, and sounds "plasticy", placing durability in question. The HP requirement that the printer be connected to a LAN/internet in order to function is unnecessary and obnoxious - connecting the printer to a LAN/network should be a decision and option of the user, not HP. It eliminates the possibility of air-gap security that the user should be able to attain if desired. All in all, a less user oriented process, company, and device than in years past.

Good printer and print quality
So far after a week of ownership and about 50 pages of printing single and double sided black and color pages, copies and scans, no issues. Fast, nice printing, but the cartridge replacement costs…yikes.

New printer ran out of ink in a week (60 pages) despite Instant Ink advertising of 6 months free
The printer is a replacement of the Offset 8600 Premium All In One that stopped working once I upgraded to Ventura MacOS. My new printer works very well, but the issue is that it showed up with so little ink that it ran out after only 60 pages. THIS IS A PRINTER THAT hp ADVERTISES AS "NEVER RUN OUT OF INK WITH FREE INSTANT INK FOR 6 MONTHS! The day it was set up the printer warned that ink was low - but caveated it with "but actual levels may be different." The Instant Ink "welcome" package was not due to arrive for a month after the printer did. So for 5 days I was not able to bring with a NEW printer! On the 6th day of no ink I was able to get ahold of a real person at Instant Ink who agreed to 2-day ship the 2 cartridges that were empty. I think if HP is going to ship printers with so little ink in their "Setup Cartridge", they should schedule the Instant Ink "Welcome" package to show up within a week not a month after purchase.

Effective and Efficient product
At the time of this review, I've had the printer for about two weeks. I've run about 700 prints including cardstock, plain paper, and 6 3/4 envelopes. There was some setup issuses, but those have been resolved as far as I can tell. The HP reps were helpful and professional with my concerns.
Likes:
1. The printer is fast even with envelopes.
2. The quality of prints is good.
3. Several free months of instant ink almost paid for the new printer (9025e) considering I was on the max subscription plan (1500 pages per month) on my old printer (8720).
4. Nice compact size and shape in comparison to the printer I've replaced.
Dislikes (but not dealbreakers)
1. Why is the top tray labled as number 2 and the bottom tray is number 1? This confuses me. My brain wants the top to be number 1 and the bottom number 2 since we read from top to bottom. This matters when you are sending jobs to the machine with different paper types. Maybe it's just me. Not a dealbreaker, of course. My HP m281fdw has tray 1 on the top and tray 2 on the bottom.
2. The setup for the printer allows you to start the free subscription for Instant Ink, but it didn't have an option for the max plan which is 1500 pages per month. Upon talking to the HP customer support, i signed up for the 700 plan and the Instant Ink people bumped me up to the free months of the 1500-page plan on their end. This solved my problem.
3. I want a 2000 or more page plan for Instant Ink, but that's not currently available. Yes, the Instant Ink program is as great as advertised if you print consistently every month.
4. I have to do paper size tricks (set paper size in MS Word to 7x4 and tweak the design until it prints in the center of the envelope) to get my 6 3/4 envelopes to print properly from MS Word. I create offering envelopes for churches for my business. I don't simply print addresses on envelopes so I'm a special case, I admit. When I first setup up the printer I had no issues, but the driver mysteriously reverted back to a very generic windows driver with little or no features. I had to reinstall the software and got a newer driver (not the original one), but it complicated my envelope printing process. I've gotten around the issues with the afforementioned paper size tricks.
Overall, the printer has been great (so far) after several hundred print outs of three different paper types.

Worse than bad machine
Worst printer I've bought in years. Bought and returned 1 thinking I had a lemon. Bought 2nd one-- had the same issues of crashing, roles sticking, malfunctioning ADF. I was unable to set up for local printing only. Drivers are only set up with HP Smart which requires the doc to go to the web then back to the printer instead of staying in the local network. Worse then the orinter was the consumer support dept-very long wait time followed by incompetent help that apologized at least 20 times in 1 phone call. I finally had to ask them not to continue to apologize. Very annoying by the 20th plus time.

Great Printer
This is a great printer which replaced my HP 8620 after 12 years of faithful service. The only experience I have experienced to date is frequent connection interruptions to my computer which are annoying but easily fixed.

Set up hassle...
Pretty big and fast printer. The set up was time consuming and not too well self explanatory. Because we kept skipping the credit card set up (as optional), the printer did not wanted to complete the set up. I think the company should be more transparent in relation to the CC and update the setting instructions. Other than that, it is a great printer.

HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e top of the line
I ordered friday afternoon. I received the unit SUNDAY at 2:26PM. I was very pleased with the quick shipment since my old printer just quit working. Price was good and no charge for quick delivery. Have used it to copy, print and scan. Works as advertised. Last HP printer lasted a decade. Hoping for same here. Goes good with my zbook!
