9015e Problems
Printer arrived in a timely manner. Well-packaged. Unfortunately, the print head would not retain the ink cartridges. A replacement print head has been ordered, but will take up to 2 weeks to arrive with no guarantee that the is the definitive problem.
We have had over a dozen OfficeJets over the years - after this set of problems - never again.

I don't love this printer
Overall, I'm not very happy with this printer. It is too big and bulky, sounds like something is breaking inside every time it prints, print quality looks dim and muted, and the ink cartridges are very difficult to install.

So far so good!
Seems like a high quality printer. The setup was challenging as HP is pushing their app which tracks your printing. I was eventually able to find the path to only download the driver software.

New and Improved Printer
I purchased this printer because my previous printer, though it was not a year old, was not working up to it's standards. Now that I have a new printer the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer, which works very well and it's quiet and fast. It also stores more paper then my last printer. It's smaller in size, but very much powerful.

Perfect at home office printer
This is the perfect printer for an at home office. It is just like being in the office on the days that I have to work from home. The best part about it is that it reorders the ink when it needs more, it shows up, and I install it, I never have to worry about running out.

Great Printer but Web Software Needs Improvement
Great Printer but Web Software Needs Improvement - The printer works well and double sided scanning and printing is a plus. However HP Smart is in needs of serious updating. For example, it shows the printer as having an HPeprint email address when in fact, according to tech support, this feature has been disabled. Instead, one needs to use Print Anywhere. There are no mentions of this in the manual or elsewhere. Needless to say, for HP users who use Eprint with other printers this is most frustrating and required a 30 min call with HP Support until we got to someone in the Cloud group that could explain what the situation is. The printer has been manufactured for a while and the slowness to update this feature is inexcusable.

does a pretty good print job pretty quickly, but boy does it eat up colored ink. The automatic ink program has not kept up with it yet. It still may end up cheaper than laser printer.

I got this printer for my daughter because it was advertised as all in one, and she could print photos too, but she can't figure out how to print photos.

Can the printer accept A4 size paper for scanning?
Thank you for the question. Yes. A4 is 8.27 inches × 11.7 inches The OfficeJet Pro 9000 series printers will scan up to 8.5 x 14-inch pages using the automatic document feeder and up to 8.5 x 11.7-inch pages on the glass (flatbed).

Will the printer print PDF files that are located on a USB Thumb Drive using the front USB port on the left side of the printer? What file formats will it print, using this port. This is not the rear USB connection port, but the front left USB port.
Hey, Tier Level 3 support says PDF from the front USB port is not supported. Only Image file formats like JPG, BMP, TIFF and PNG.
I just confirmed this and it will NOT print PDF files from a USB Flash Drive.
