Received a damaged printer
Thinking this was a good deal, I bought this printer. I received it fairly quickly, set it up according to instructions, and it immediately started making loud grinding noises. I Upon further inspection, the machine was broken in several places which may or may not have made the noises. Either way, it was damaged beyond use when I received it. Returning the item was fairly easy other than the hassle of having to take it to Fed Ex.

Slow as a turtle
Too many little bugs. Often have to send a request for printing something twice or more and this is the slowest printer I have ever had to work with in my entire career. I wish I never had bought it. The years worth of free ink in retrospect is not able to compensate for my frustrations. I found an old HP printer at a yard sale that works so much nicer. This is the first HP product that I have been dissatisfied with all my years in needing printers and computers.

I have Instant ink on a HP ENVY Photo 7864, does this printer use #64 cartridges? If so can I use the cartridges in my current printer, 64/303 804 . on a different printer, so I guess the original cartridges are #64 the error "out of paper"
The ENVY Inspire units use the 64 standard and 64XL cartridges. The ENVY Inspire 7955e https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-envy-inspire-7955e-all-in-one-printer would be the closest to the ENVY Photo 7864 spec wise. If you opt-in for HP+ with the setup of a new ENVY Inspire, you do get free months of Instant Ink with it. HP+ is free. You will need to cancel Instant Ink on the unit you would no longer be using, it will not transfer to another unit.

I saw your OfficeJet Pro 8034e printer at Staples. A brochure stated that even when using a USB cable, the printer had to connected to the internet. Why?
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e All-in-One Printer requires an internet connection if using the printer with the HP Instant Ink program. If you are not using Instant Ink an always connection is not needed. However, to keep the printer properly updated it is recommended. Thanks for your question!

I'm just making sure I read this correctly - "This printer has been discontinued." If that is the case how long before you discontinue making the printer cartridge? The same thing happened to my Officejet Pro 8500.
