Needs help
At first it didn't work. I had to call HP to have setup the printer properly. Then it couldn't scan. Again I had to call HP to have it resetup again. If I had to do it again I think I would have bought a different printer.

Very Disappointed
We are disappointed with the performance of the OFFICEJET PRO 8034e. It replaces another HP printer that we have used for the last 8.5 years and this one just doesn't compare. The paper tray is flimsy, the cover for the paper tray doesn't kick out the paper in an orderly manner and the paper needs to be loaded very carefully so it doesn't crease. The ink cartridges do not install as easily as the old one. Judging by the cheap looking assembly of this product I will be surprised if we get more than a couple of years' service from it.

This is the third time I've purchased this basic model. They last about 4-5 years before needing to be replaced, but they are pretty inexpensive, so it is worth it. The quality of the printout is very good, and I like the front control panel.

Poor Paper Tray
The quality of the paper tray does not match the quality of the printer. The tray is made of weak, flimsy feeling plastic. It hangs up and will not slide easily in and out of the machine. And I find the design of the adjustable paper guides nearly impossible to figure out. The printer/scanner itself is of the highest quality and has performed flawlessly. But the paper tray has been so problematic that, if I had known in advance, it would have been a deal breaker and I would not have made the purchase.

Love the HP Printer.
My last printer was an HP and I loved it and was so sad when it finally quit working. I hooked up this printer, and it works well, I guess I am just adjusting to a different printer and sometimes change is hard.

Good printer for the value and the size makes it ideal for my cramped space
I bought it to replace an Office Jet 8700 printer. It's not maybe my first choice but it gets the job done. I was able to easily unpackage and set up the printer without any issues. I'll probably keep it as a backup printer once I can afford one that has multiple paper trays. Otherwise, a good little printer as the footprint is much smaller than my old one.

Good printing quality so far. only issue is even with the ethernet cable have truble getting it conected keep getting the no printer found or have to verify for each document i print for direct printing. it seems that thats an ongoing issue with HP printers

You get what you pay for
Many parts made out of recycled plastic, very flexible paper holding tray. Print quality is a little on low side for presentation material but good enough for home use. First shipment of "free ink" was lost by shipping company and our printer ran out of ink and we were therefore unable to use our printer for 6 days. Not good.

The 910 setup cartridges do come with it. If you use the HP Smart app for the setup, you will also get the option to opt-in for HP+ which gives you an extra year of warranty, HP+ Support for two years, the HP Smart Advance app, and a free year of Instant Ink all at no extra cost.
