Received a damaged printer
Thinking this was a good deal, I bought this printer. I received it fairly quickly, set it up according to instructions, and it immediately started making loud grinding noises. I Upon further inspection, the machine was broken in several places which may or may not have made the noises. Either way, it was damaged beyond use when I received it. Returning the item was fairly easy other than the hassle of having to take it to Fed Ex.

Slow as a turtle
Too many little bugs. Often have to send a request for printing something twice or more and this is the slowest printer I have ever had to work with in my entire career. I wish I never had bought it. The years worth of free ink in retrospect is not able to compensate for my frustrations. I found an old HP printer at a yard sale that works so much nicer. This is the first HP product that I have been dissatisfied with all my years in needing printers and computers.

For 2-sided printing, we see that we can do 1-side to 2 sided, but there doesn’t appear to be the capacity to do 2-sided to 2- sided. Are we missing something?
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e All-in-One Printer is not capable of duplex(double-sided to double-sided) copying. It can only duplex print. The HP OfficeJet 9015e and 9025e can duplex scan and copy.

Thank you for your question! This HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e uses the HP 910 cartridges whereas the HP OfficeJet 8620 uses the HP 950 cartridges. These cartridges are not interchangeable. The 8034e features most of the same functions as the 8620.

It can print 8.5 x 14 double sided. The ADF holds up to 35 sheets. You would still use the main tray to print 8.5 x 14 and that holds up to 225 sheets, you would just have to pull out the tray extension.

Wireless Direct (WiFi Direct) allows you to directly connect to a printer from a mobile device or computer without the need for internet access or a wireless network. You would connect to the printer’s wireless direct signal just like you would connect to a wireless network. The printer would have a unique name in your wireless connections, i.e. Direct-04-Printer.
You can send Mobile Faxes. Mobile fax is where you can send faxes through the HP Smart app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. If you need to send or receive faxes, you can use a service like eFax.
