The description said it would be compatible with Windows 7. It was not.
Also, there's a 'tray extender' on top of the paper tray. It isn't mentioned in the set up or online set up directions. I have no idea how this fits/works on top of the paper tray.

"Instant Ink" keeps you waiting with no printer
They don't tell you when you buy this that to get the free ink you must irrevocably agree to never purchase third party ink.
Having read the fine print, I signed up for the "instant Ink" and started printing. At just over 100 pages one of the initial cartridges was depleted and I couldn't print anymore. No mention anywhere on what initial cartridge capacity was or I could have waited to print much of what I had done. This wouldn’t have been a problem if the “instant ink” cartridges had been delivered in a timely fashion. As it is I have been without a printer for over a week and still waiting on cartridges.

Behind the scenes services lack
The printer is OK - some things I would like changed, but it is the behind the scene that is my biggest complaint. I was NOT informed that I had 7 days to sign up for HP Ink replacement services. I had to go through an hour online in order to prove that I had a special deal with HP+ which I purchased over Labor Day and thus got 1 year of ink replacement. What a huge amount of stupid repetitive work to get it done.

I returned this printer. I WAS NOT told it had ‘3 separate color cartridges’ instead of “1 tricolor’ cartridge like my 7640 Envy when I talked in length about this 8034e printer to HP sales. I ordered the Envy 7955e. I love HP printers. Tech support is great. Looking forward to receiving new printer.

The 910 setup cartridges do come with it. If you use the HP Smart app for the setup, you will also get the option to opt-in for HP+ which gives you an extra year of warranty, HP+ Support for two years, the HP Smart Advance app, and a free year of Instant Ink all at no extra cost.
